For me "Stop killing games" is a click bait title and it feels like they are just targeting the crew. Their is a far wider set of consumer issues. Around games not working in digitail store, Bugs breaking games. Not being able to redownload games you own on the orignal format. Steam sellings games which just don't work out of the download and need fan mods to get to run.

Not sure if it's related but their seems to be a xbox 360 live outage at the moment. Been running a Aliens vs predator boosting session on the 360 at present and 3 of our players are unable to connect to the 360 xbox live at the moment.

This offer in the UK appears to have ended as the game is not showing as free now. I download this the other month when it was not free and now I find out I have missed it as they did it over a bank holiday without much fanfare.

Edit - Looks like it is now working again as I been able to claim it.

Yes you will be able buy dlc on xbox one but for some reason some games the dlc is not available to buy https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/store/defense-grid/BRGZNMD482L8/0001 as I said on the xbox one store defense grid won't let you buy the dlc. So you need to check the games you own Lost planet 2 is another example you can't buy one of the map packs the others you can.

Been going through the list of stuff I own and picking up the DLC fI didn't own. Also checking the games I own are working correctly.
Make sure you download any COMPATIBILITY PACKS FOR GAMES YOU ARE BUYING.

As @shoeses points out some BC games you can't buy via xbox one etc. Defense Grid is one example you can still buy the dlc on the 360 market place. So it the last chance to get that and unlock the achievements.

You can still play your sega saturn when xbox live goes down as well.

Just wanted to point out the ultimate edition did not include all the DLC the hotwheels car pack was not included in that bundle. As that has now been removed it does mean users won't be able to get all the cars now. Some cars where free and needed to be download once you are in game so they could also be affected.

@FraserG Thanks for raising awarness of this you can also add L.A. Noire and Life Is Strange both have broken session passes users on true achievements have confirmed.

@Fiendish-Beaver on delisted games n64ra mentions they where unable to download the dlc for gears 3 via the season pass. 2 of the DLC are now free from the marketplace.

As far as I am concerned given microsoft still sell items on the 360 store they have a duty of care to users who are still paying for content. That the items they buy still work.

@FraserG could you please raise awareness of broken season passes on xbox 360, L.A. Noire, Gears of War 3, Fry cry 4, Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show, At present if you buy any of them you will be unable to download the content they allow. Getting a refund out of microsoft is proving to be a real pain as well.

Given the og version are still better to play. They still have lots of work to do the hoth space map still has broken graphics

Only 1 item has come back from my wishlist as well the others are still gone..

So they can bring Hi-Fi Rush to switch and not xbox one WTF.......
