DSi - I was a wierd kid, who didn't like smartphones, but wanted a device to be multipurpose. DSi was a great version of the DS with nice clicky buttons and an oddly satisfying matte finish, and a so-so mp3 player (err... AAC player...)
New 3DS XL Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Edition - I was hesitant to upgrade, but then they announced the Monster Hunter edition and I was sold. The extra analog nub was really handy in the handful of games that supported it and the hardware was much snappier than the original 3DS. Plus, 3D was actually so much better to use on this system!
Switch 2 - I was mostly motivated to upgrade early by the threat of ahem, global economic conditions. That said, I am a massive Mario Kart fan, and probably would have adopted the Switch 2 relatively early for MK World regardless. So far, I am really enjoying the Switch 2. Nintendo's output has been a little sparse for sure, but as I am mainly a portable gamer these days, having a huge selection of 3rd party titles to pick from has been a blast, and the performance has been extremely impressive for most of the titles I have played.
Same here, only needed two more daily quests to get that 1000 points. I had seen it say that the cut off was the 7th, then everything reset last night.
For me, it had to be Oblivion. That one game sold me on the entire system. That was the first game that just blew my mind with the freedom it offered. I also remember really loving Forza Motorsport 4 and the first Forza Horizon.
@LordFunkalot To be fair though, little to no real development went into either version; the Switch version just inherited online multiplayer just by being added to the N64 Switch Online app.
I could be mistaken, but I believe the first game I ever completed was Pokemon Red Version. I wasn't very good at gaming as a kid, so most games I would play up to about 75% complete or so and if it felt like it was above my skill level I would just restart. Pokemon was different though, like a great adventure with MY team and I had to see it through. No matter how though my opponents got, I had to become the champion. Looking back, that is such a simple game, but at the time, it felt truly epic
Hmm... I wonder if this will let us customize these cars. I am love classic muscle cars like the 70 Roadrunner and the 70 Charger, but I'm not too keen on the ff styling. I'm not big on the huge rims and the engine sticking out of the hood. I would like to drive it closer to stock appearence if possible.
