I think this year is too oversaturated for new games across platforms. Still a lot to play and a lot of it is on game pass.

@Titntin you should try eneba or cd keys. They sell digital keys for much cheaper. Both reputable safe sites.

All Sony has to do is make a proper Killzone 4 and it will smash Cod out of the window. Even Brothers in Arms was better than what Cod has become.

@InterceptorAlpha i enjoy plenty of games thanks. I'm a completionist not that it is anything to you. I would rather go for achievements than for example play call of duty online every single day. Much more fulfilling.

@Titntin its been under 30 for ages. Plus copies often sell on eBay bids for 17 or 18 pounds. Generally speaking on this game if you put a 21 pound bid down in the last 15 seconds on a bid (sniper yes but everyone else will do it to you so fk it), you will get this for 20 or so, plus postage.

@InterceptorAlpha A lot don't have replayability otherwise yes. I'm a completionist, and you will find a lot of others on this site and Push Square are too.

@GamingFan4Lyf the switch can barely run Pong yet alone Re4R. It is NOT a current gen console it is last gen in fact its pushing it to say it was even 8th Gen.

@Novs because servers won't be supported forever. Medal of Honor airborne is still on EA Play and the server closed a month ago.

@PhileasFragg make sure you go in before 9am otherwise the bacon is rancid and rock hard. They just leave it on a hotplate for hours.

@Sol4ris i own both ps5 and series x and I've been playing my ps3s and x360s lately because modern gaming is terrible so far. I've got resident evil 4 coming on ps5 (because Resi belongs on ps), and Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox. Apart from that, no I haven't played any exclusives apart from on game pass or ps premium. This looks like a bad copy of Left 4 Dead with the forced live service stuff making me want to avoid it even for free.

Any 'just for you' sales showing up this week?

Given the train wreck this is looking like it will be (even with live service removed), I think only ps players got away lightly. Me im multiplatform so I tend to play stuff like this on Xbox as the 60 quid price tag is too much on ps5. Even though I stack. Stuff like Dead Space etc though that will come to EA Play very quickly so not worth buying it at retail.

And EA have stealthily added Syndicate to the shutdown list stating 15th June.

Compared to the not at all brilliant ps store. The Xbox store is awful. There is no option for filtering by type price etc, and its still ridiculous that it is not available on the mobile app. Amount of money MS has, they could easily pay for the license to do so, rather than make players jump through third party hoops.

I'm still pissed off that US players get practically double the points that UK and EU players do. We get 3 points a bing search and they get 5. Why is that fair?

Just some info for UK players. If you have the XB Deals app downloaded and a Gold account it is currently possible to obtain dark void and splosion man for free. They are both currently gwg in Brazil, but you can redeem them from a UK account and play. Simply click the links at the bottom to the ms store and click every green link. Then check your xbox and it should either be installing or installed. The dlc is not included however sadly.

I don't care who argues otherwise, it is a last gen system. It is not current gen, not on the same power level as the series x or ps5. Yes it is holding games back. It's like devs who still develop new games for ps4 and xb1 but deliver a restricted product on current gen consoles in order to do so in time of release. Those titles shouldn't be allowed to sell at full RRP because they are not taking advantage of the full power of the current gen systems, but are charging current gen prices.

What you actually mean, is they deliberately removed them to sell them back to gamers. Tossers.

Guardians is about a tenner physical now so no major issue there. Undertale is worth a play before it goes.

@Chaudy @Fenbops silent hill 2 remake also isnt coming to Xbox. Not just for 12 months but ever. It launched as a ps2 exclusive and thus it should remain exclusive. Silent Hill is and always will be a 1st Party sony IP. It would be like Mario Kart releasing on Xbox. Its just plain wrong

@cragis0001 final fantasy launched as a sony exclusive thats the difference. Final Fantasy 7 was only on Playstation and is well known as one of the greatest ps exclusives of all time.

You do realize that Sony literally just added it to ps extra though right? That doesn't sound like exclusivity is over to me.

What I'm not a fan of is you don't seem to be able to buy other dynamic backgrounds. On Xbox 360 you could, and on One. On series X however you seem to be stuck with these special event only ones. Someone please correct me?
