It was back in May that Skydance Games delayed Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra from 2025 to early 2026, and now the upcoming action-adventure title has unfortunately been delayed again - this time indefinitely.
In a statement on social media this week, Skydance Games highlighted how "ambitious" the project is:
"Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an ambitious project, and we are committed to ensuring it meets the level of quality that our team, players, and fans expect."
You may recall that just a couple of months ago, some images and a brief bit of footage from Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra leaked online, but they were quietly removed by the source soon afterwards.
The indefinite delay suggests that Skydance Games either isn't confident in a release window anymore for Rise of Hydra, or perhaps wants to avoid giving a new estimate considering the situation surrounding GTA 6 and its constantly shifting release date.
We'll have to wait and see, but for now, it sounds like we're not hearing anything more about this game for a while.
