Before Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red was crafting The Witcher 3 and while it's now focused on the development of the next major entry in the series, it's taken a brief moment out of its busy schedule to pay its respects to Geralt's third outing.

It's now been 10 years since this particular title made its original debut on Xbox and multiple other platforms, and to mark this occasion, the developer released a 10th anniversary trailer - highlighting many memorable moments and the adventures throughout the game.

CDPR: "Celebrate 10 years of killing monsters and forging unforgettable memories! It's been a decade since players first stepped into Geralt's boots and began their search for Ciri — discovering all the choices, adventures, and stories that followed. Thank you for walking this Path with us. You made The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt the legendary journey it is today."

Many fans have taken it as an opportunity to share their feelings about this entry, with one of the top user comments mentioning how it's still "one of the greatest video games ever made". CDPR released a next-generation version of the Witcher 3 on Xbox Series X|S in 2022 and even if you've already played this game in an earlier state, it's still well worth revisiting.

As already mentioned, the Polish-based team is now busy working on its next Witcher game, The Witcher 4 - which is set to star Ciri as the main character. In this time since the third game was released, some of the original team members have also formed their own studio and are now working on a title called Dawnwalker.
