2K accidentally leaked a WWE 2K22 trailer slightly ahead of time earlier today, and it gives us much more information on what to expect from the latest entry in the series, which is scheduled to arrive in March of 2022.

The key thing that many people are going to be interested in is that it features the return of a managerial mode in the form of 'MyGM', which looks to be very similar in nature to the GM Mode included in the WWE games from 2006-2008.

Other new features in the trailer include a redesigned gameplay engine, new controls, "stunning" graphics, immersive presentation, a new 2K Showcase mode starring Rey Mysterio, a 'MyFaction' mode, a 'MyRise' mode, an improved Universe Mode, an upgraded customisation suite and much more. It's certainly packing a lot of content!

As you may remember, WWE 2K22 has enjoyed a longer development cycle than any other game in the series so far, with the decision being made to skip WWE 2K21 due to the poor reception suffered by WWE 2K20 a few years ago. The company's biggest rival in AEW is also currently working on a console game, but there's no date for that one yet.
