I was reminiscing the other day about playing Project Gotham Racing 2 on the original Xbox. I thought I'd give it a go. PGR2 is backwards compatible with the 360 so I bought a 360 and a disc copy of PGR2. But when I tried to install it it said "You need to attach an Xbox 360 hard drive..." Turns out it needs the hard drive to emulate the original Xbox
So I bought an original microsoft 250Gb hard drive - it says "Microsoft" next to it in the 'system' section and it has 195Gb free. But when I try to install PGR2 it now says "This original Xbox game is not supported on your Xbox 360 console. An update to support this game may be available. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/games"
I can't find any info of PGR2 at that web address. Anyone know what to do? Do you think it might need Xbox live Gold or whatever to update the game? I don't have a current Xbox account or anything.
It looks like PGR 2.is only backwards compatible on NA Xbox 360. With that said if your having problems running it on the 360 why not just get an original Xbox to play it on?
