I purchased this new when the Elite 2 controllers were first on the market. I have replaced the outer shell twice. Triggers one time. Bumpers two times. I replaced one joystick the right side. This controller has been brought back to life many times. I have one question can you do that with Razer? How about Turtle Beach? You will shell out over $200.00 for a one way controller? One way is the trash. I am 70 years old and now I can't do my own sodering so I pay to have it done. This controller is Darth Vader. Very little is stock and no mods just maintenance. If you take care of it it will take care of you. I would rather spend the money on repairs than the expensive third party controllers that can't last or suffer from software glitches. When you dump all that money on a expensive third party controller see how long it lasted.
My experience : I don't buy anymore Microsoft controllers.
I'm old now (younger than you.... ) but I prefer wired controllers.
One advise (but you are free to do what you want...) : try to buy a gameSir G7HE (wired) for 60 euros.
You really get more value for your money.
I just hope that , for the next Xbox, we will get Hall effect sticks....
