So, I started watching quantum leap the old one again. I think its one of my 5 top shows all time. Also just ran through Justified one more time and man if you haven't seen it check it out.
@VisitingComet1 Whats werid about it is that there's no explanation anywhere for it. I can understand contract dispute or problems on the set but nothing is said.

@Utena-mobile Some films aren't as great as the books like Visitingcomet1 wrote. Even Jurassic Park, that I loved as a kid, still do, one of the best films ever in my opinion, can't overshadow Michael Crichton's books, that I read years later. You'd think that you need CGI for a story with dinosaurs, yet the books are absolutely amazing.
Back to Halo, I finished watching the second season, that ended in more cliff hangers than the first, and I can say that I loved both seasons. John, Halsey, Cortana -I like the new actress, she looks more serious-, Kai, I would add the rest of the Silver Team, are a success. There are many memorable characters and the last episode is tremendous. What about Parangosky's deserved death? LOL
Like you say, the lore of Halo is vaguely explored in the video games and seeing this developed in an expensive TV production with Spartans, the Covenant and the Flood is a dream. My only complaints are related to the side stories that looked standard TV series material used as filler, as much as they wanted to give some characters like Kwan big roles. I guess they need a bigger host for the third season that they are planning already. I look forward to watching more in the future!
Halsey's assistant is Adun. He was going to kiss the clone they made for creating Cortana, was it because it resembled... Halsey?
@Banjo- I loved the end of halo season 2 I thought the whole season was just awesome.
Reading the Jurassic Park book was really good. I agree with you that the movie which I have watched a bazillion times was awesome and still holds up today, but it doesn't do the book justice.
Another book that was made into a really good movie is the Hunt for Red October. the movie is great the book might be in my top ten ever written and I read a lot.
I am on the last season of Last Man Standing. Overall a really good show that I am sorry I missed during it's run. With that said though I will say that I enjoyed the ABC version better then the Fox one.
The main gripe I had was all the changes they did with the cast. Granted the big one was switching the actresses that played Mike's oldest daughter but when it went to Fox it seems like they just did an overall. Granted I know that the original Mandy thought the show was over after ABC canceled it and took on other projects but they could have just written the character off saying she was doing fashion in New York or something. Then they also changed Mike's grandson and a few of the neighbors. But just way to many cast overhaul.
Then of course the addition of Jen for the Fox run. While she wasn't bad it just felt that they forced her in. Granted they wanted that chemistry of another daughter since Eve was dropped to a guest star in the Fox run but still Jen just felt out of place.
Overall like I said a pretty good show and enjoyable just a few things here for me. I still feel Home Improvement was a better show over all but Last Man Standing is good too.

Really enjoying watching ER again probably the first show I watched as an adult on a weekly basis.
Another show I'm looking to get back into is the expanse.
Recently I have been watching a couple of Fantasy anime. It took me a week to watch all twenty four episodes of the first season of Delicious in Dungeon. So I am now waiting for season two of it. I also have been watching Frieren Beyond Journey's End.
currently busy watching the old 1987 slasher flick Open House on youtube. havent seen that old movie in a long time. it was a favorite VHS rental back in the day
Started Twisted Metal tonight and its an interesting show. I like how the first season is somewhat of a prequel to the games which is nice cause you see how the characters came to be. I must also say the combination of Samoa Joe and Will Arnett for Sweet Tooth is just perfect. Right now I am midday through season 1 and looking to finish it tomorrow.

So I finally got caught up on Twisted Metal and I am really enjoy it, one of the best video game adaptations in a long time. The little nods to the game series is great and the really capture the tone of tbe game and feeling of it. Now that the tournament has started its going to be interesting.

Finished up the current season of Twisted Metal and I loved it. I really enjoyed Calypso alot. The actor played him perfectly. I hope they continue on the a third season especially since its rumored that it will go into Calypso's background more.
