Gears of War: E-Day is coming exclusively to Xbox this October, and it's already an absolute blast to play, especially the new Horde Siege mode. That said, if you're into prized possessions and collectibles, there's a 1:1 replica of E-Day's 'Prototype Lancer' on the way, and it looks sick!
Details are few and far between at the moment, with pre-orders set to go live at some point today. Previous Lancer replicas, such as Gears 5's Crimson Omen lancer, which tempted me something proper back in the day, cost around $150. So, we're expecting E-Day's take on the iconic rifle to sit somewhere in that price range, but who knows these days.
Gears of War: E-Day's chainsaw lancer prototype is a makeshift upgrade the COG came up with at the beginning of the Locust War. Bayonets simply weren't cutting the cheese anymore, so this is what you get when you combine a store-bought chainsaw with standard issue COG weaponry.
