Topic: What are you watching?

@Tasuki are they appropriate for a six year old? I would love my kid to watch them. watching 1 and 2 with my dad is a great memory for me.

@ZeD both the dune movies were really good I think that might be the only new one I saw last year. we did a lot Disney plus movies with the kid but that were the old classics. I really miss going to the theater.

been binging season 2 of The Ranch on netflix all night last night. just started season 3 for today and tomorrow.

Finally finished Fallout Season 2. Another great season. I enjoyed this one lot more but that was probably because it took place in New Vegas which is my favorite Fallout game. I loved all the nods and Easter eggs they included. Loved how they ended this seasons and it will be great to see a new part of the US that wasnt previously covered in Fallout games.

Was watching the Winter Olympics the last few weeks. These athletes always impress me. Mostly I watched they Hockey, both men and woman's, congrats to Team USA for winning gold in both of those. I alos caught some curling, some of the ski events, snow boarding and bobsleding. I really enjoyed the new event Ski Mounteering too.

After two weeks its sad to see them end but it will be nice to get back to a normal schedule where the Olympics wont be consuming all my free time. Great job on Italy for putting on one of the best Winter Olympics in awhile.

Watched Rambo(2006), the one with Julie Benz in it. Seen it before but was in the mood for some Stallone. Then my stallone session continued with Rocky Balboa. Then I went into Last Blood but I saw that maybe around a year or 2 ago, so wasn't really in mood for finishing it. Started Baz Lurhman's The Great Gatsby. I enjoyed the novel and the Redford movie so ill prob finish that. Also watching The Kid Detective again. Brilliant film.

Finished the new season of Shrinking this week.

The wife and I are also on Season 1 of the Pitt and Watching My Friends and Neighbors (great show by the way - just watched S2E2 tonight)

I’m watching the new season of Invincible by myself.

I love movies and TV in general, just watched 2003's Timeline, enjoyable Sci-Fi movie. I am a big proponent of physical media, so that one was a DVD watch. Though I obviously own Blu Ray and 4K movies too.

Currently going through the boxed set of Harry Potter movies.

Hogwarts Legacy was a great reminder of why I really enjoy those stories.
This evening I shall the see final movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.

I might very well reread all of the books, soon, as well. But first I have to finish what I am reading at the moment, The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes, which is the very last collection of Holmes’ short stories.

dunno why but just started binge watching catching up on Marshals on my Paramountplus.

too many newer CBS shows lately this year and from last year a little bit from Fire Country to Sheriff Country and now frikkin Marshals lol

watching the 1999 comedy Dick on Tubi tonight. been years since i saw that movie. Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams are funny in the movie

Just finished Widows Bay, was recommended by a friend and I really enjoyed it. The cocktail episode was a favourite! Watching some Poirot now, and cutting in with The Shield.

currently busy with the last half of season 5 of 24 on Hulu.

also busy with the other half of the classic 1980s Scarface movie

and slowly watching season 1 of Madtv on Tubi

@el_pieablo Widow's Bay is incredible television. "You told me to be supportive!" 😂

The show kicked me onto a bit of a Matthew Rhys kick, first watching The Beast in Me which was solid enough and now I've just started the The Americans, which is exceptional so far.

@Teclo yeah it was fantastic.

Finished part 1 of Batman Knightfall. Soooo good. Also watching Ted Laddo and Reacher new seasons.
