Currently binging through Season 1 of Kids in the Hall on Tubi along with trying to catch up on the 1990s Mighty Joe Young movie on Tubi

and trying to watch the old Airport movie on netflix before Netflix gets rid of the movie later this week

Finished up the current season of Twisted Metal and I loved it. I really enjoyed Calypso alot. The actor played him perfectly. I hope they continue on the a third season especially since its rumored that it will go into Calypso's background more.

My wife and I are watching Pluribus right now. Just finished episode 6. It's Quite good imo.

Weekly shows - Watching Landman and Fallout. Loving those 2 also. Landman is not as good as season 1 imo.

Finished Stranger Things. Good times were had.

I watched Ghostbusters last night which is a classic. I got Afterlife and Frozen Empire for Christmas but its been awhile since I've seen 1 and 2 that I wanted to watch them before the new ones.

@Tasuki let me know what you think of the new ones I really want to see them but have been scared.

@VisitingComet1 So just a little personal background. I was introduced to Ghostbusters in early 1985 through a VHS copy of the movie that my Dad got from a buddy at work and just like any kid I was caught up in Ghostbusters fever. One of the few memories I have as a kid was a group of me and my friends running around our school during recess just recreating the library scene from the first movie. I enjoyed the cartoon as a kid had the action figures and even played the horrible NES game. So to say I am a fan of the series is somewhat of an understatement.

So like you I was scared to see Afterlife ( especially after hearing about the disaster of the female sequel) even though people were telling me it was a great movie. Well I after getting a copy of it on Blu-ray as a Christmas gift I figure I might as well. Well without spoiling anything I will say if you are a fan of the first movie and Ghostbusters in general you owe yourself to see this movie. For me it checked all the boxes. I have yet to see Frozen Empire but Afterlife was totally worth it.

@Tasuki thank you. I grew up like you loving ghost busters watched the cartoon even dressed as one for Halloween. I watched the all girl one and it was just terrible. we're in buffalo for the last ever bills home game at their old stadium but when we get back I'll watch afterlife thanks again.

@VisitingComet1 So wrapped up my Ghostsbusters marathon tonight with Frozen Empire. Overall it was a solid Ghostbusters adventure. I prefer Afterlife over Frozen Empire but in no way does that mean Frozen Empire is/was bad. It definitely has a place in Ghostbusters Universe.

I need to watch Frozen Empire (was added to Netflix over Xmas).
On another note, I really need to put more effort into watching some new movies. In 2025 I only watched 2 movies that came out and they were Minecraft and Zootopia 2! Any recommendations on what I may have missed?

@Tasuki thanks for letting me know I just ordered the blue rays as like you I prefer disc versions.

@Tasuki are they appropriate for a six year old? I would love my kid to watch them. watching 1 and 2 with my dad is a great memory for me.

@ZeD both the dune movies were really good I think that might be the only new one I saw last year. we did a lot Disney plus movies with the kid but that were the old classics. I really miss going to the theater.

been binging season 2 of The Ranch on netflix all night last night. just started season 3 for today and tomorrow.
