Another month is about to come to an end, so it's time to look back on the list of Xbox Game Pass titles we've received throughout August 2025, and we'd say it's been a pretty excellent month for the service overall!

Gears of War: Reloaded stands above the rest as the most important Xbox Game Pass addition of the past few weeks, but don't forget about the likes of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced, Heretic + Hexen, The Rogue Prince of Persia and yesterday's final title of the month in Dragon Age: The Veilguard!

For us though, Gears has to be the highlight of the bunch:

Perhaps one of the more low-key Xbox Game Pass additions of August, like Herdling, Void/Breaker or the returning Aliens: Fireteam Elite get your vote? We wouldn't blame you for picking any of those - they've all been great!
