First lot of DLC is out - new Steampunk Gear, weapons and Costumes for both Evie and Jacob. Will be nabbing these tonight myself as they're included with the Season pass - they look pretty cool!
Did you get these as part of the season pass? I could download Evie costume for free from the Store, but the DLC pack is saying it's £3.39... I checked in game too and it does say I have purchased the season pass.
EDIT: Okay so I went on the in-game store and clicked on BUY NOW...then it says I already own it and can download. Slightly confusing!
Yeah - they both showed on the store with 'INSTALL' instead of the price so I got them both. Have you checked the season pass in the store and ''installed' it? Worth a try.
Neither auto-downloaded though but then nothing seems to since I got the new dash
@stylon: Yeah I got em now. The DLC didn't show as INSTALL until I clicked BUY NOW (and wasn't charged again)....and no auto-install for me obviously. On the plus side, the new toys are seriously good (if you are Lvl 7 or above).
Glad you got it sorted. Yeah pretty much all the new toys and outfits had much better specs than any of the stuff I'd unlocked or crafted so far. The fact that the outfits carry through to the cutscenes was a nice touch too.
@Captain_Chao5: That is awesome news - I noticed that the gamerscore went up to 1300 recently and loads of extra achievements appeared so that'll be why. I've almost finished sequence 7... will make sure I've finished it before this comes out. Been too distracted with side missions and getting control of each area.
Don't know when it launched but I noticed from the in-game menu that there was a new 'Victorian Legends' outfit pack for Jacob last night. It was a 1.5GB download and a very nice looking outfit indeed.
I'm well into sequence 8 now, been taking my time making sure I get 100% synchronisation on each mission which can be tricky on some of them!
@stylon: Crikey! You're a better man that I. I was going for 100% on the first couple, but some were just too challenging/frustrating. Maybe I'll try again as it's a great game and I'd really like to 100% it to go with AC and AC2.

@Captain_Chao5: The one where you have to kidnap 3 people from 3 different locations without killing anyone and without them escaping was especially challenging. Took me over an hour to do the 3rd one last night. The one were you have to get the copper out of the building and area that is literally crawling with more coppers! Was well pleased with myself when I pulled it off though!
I'll have a look on mine later and let you know. I've got Season Pass too. Maybe it's one of those weird DLCs that you download from within the game menu?

@Captain_Chao5: Cheers. Noticed you got the achievement for demolishing 5000 destructible items - how long did that take you!? I've been driving around like an idiot for half the game deliberately smashing lamposts down and I'm barely up to 40% on that one!
@stylon: Just checked...same for me (£11.99). Had a quick google and there seems to be a lot of people with the same issue. Ubi have apparently commented to say this will be fixed within 24 hours - but that was a 2nd-hand comment not a direct quote.
Without a Grudge cheevo took ages! My advice is to go to Westminster. The lamps with flowers and the larger lamps in the middle of the roads seem to be worth 1 'point' whereas the smaller lamps along the sides of the road are only worth 0.5 'points'. Another tip is to do 'laps' of Nelsons Column in a bus. By the time you have gone all the way around, they respawn
I am similarly in awe of you getting "You wouldn't steal a policemans helmet". I've tried TIMES to hijack just one but keep getting loads of police turn up. I've only managed one hijacking and I'm not sure how I did that!

@stylon: Just checked again. If I choose the add-on, it opens the MS store and it still says £11.99....BUT... on 'manage game' the DLC was listed as Ready To Install and is doing so now.

@Captain_Chao5: Well that sucks - it's always the stuff you are most looking forward to that have these issues too...
As for hijacking the police cart... run and climb up the back, take one of the coppers out with a throwing knife or two (so he can't attack you when you get in the drivers seat) and then hijack it. Don't try to attack first from on the ground or like you say you'll be quickly swarmed by the fuzz...
Still need to work on my multi-kills, shooting first, kicking peeps of trains and of course the music boxes which are pretty tough to find!
@stylon: Cheers for that! I was indeed trying from the ground and getting mobbed. Kicking peeps of trains is defo a chapter 1 thing. Kick 3-4 off then restart the checkpoint. If you do (I think) five, the checkpoint saves and moves on. Multi-kills I've got a lot of these in the boxing matches Music boxes - urgh! I've found about 10 purely by chance, hearing the tune playing. Think that'll be one for the walkthrough videos on YouTube

Come to think of it, it's a long time since I had any sort of fight on top of a train so again that chapter 1 advice is very helpful!
Same as you with the music boxes. All the ones I have I've got legitimately, either by investigating when I've heard the music tinkling or by looking at the photo and thinking to myself - I know where that is! Think a guide will be needed though... you can buy one in-game for helix points but I used all my 'free' ones getting crafting materials and it's 1000 points so that's a no go. If you have u-play and haven't squandered them like me then that might be an option for you
Wasn't expecting to actually play as the Ripper... that was cool! Had to laugh when I killed a random bystander and got chastised by the game though. They've clearly taken the idea of Jack being a monster and run with it but the resulting gameplay is a lot of fun and is just different enough to not feel like 'more of the same'. Not a big fan of the Walk of Shame side missions though
