Topic: Assassins Creed Syndicate

Dunno if anyone knows a fix for an achievement that says "done, unlocking' which doesn't.
Sequence 4 has been stuck on this forever for me. I've powered off, logged off/on etc to no avail. Other stuff has unlocked since so I don't know what's up with it.

Yeah I've got a couple of achievements stuck like that with the Ripper DLC from last night. Just keep playing and they'll sort themselves out over the next day or two when you least expect then to! Had this issue a few times over the last 2 years.

Seems like the whole bloody thing is fooked tonight. Can't watch Netflix, YouTube, prime and AC keeps freezing. Xbox live status page says they're having issues with 'core services' grrrrrrr.

Ah apparently it was a DDOS attack by some scum sucking bottom feeders calling themselves 'Phantom Squad'... well thanks for ruining my little bit of relaxation after a hard days graft guys. I really appreciated it.

First sign of madness is talking to yourself but hey ho... it's quiet on PX these days...

@stylon: I've just read a news story about those ass-hats. Apparently they are planning DDOS attacks on PS and XBOX on Christmas Day too. Do they REALLY think they'll gain popularity by ruining some poor kids day (also a fair few adults!)?

Finished this last night 1300/1300 GS. The 5000 damage thing was a real chore, I was literally falling asleep going around Nelsons column over and over and over again, I enjoyed getting all the others though. I've still got a handful of side missions to do but they don't affect the achievements - just the 100% counter in-game. Enjoyed the Ripper DLC but the story part of it was quite short... hope they bring out the next DLC soon!

@stylon: hey Stylon, I need some Syndicate help! There's a gang ability which I have that allows you to buy pubs to increase your income, but I dont know where or how to do so! I'm super poor so it would help greatly to raise my cash!

You need to go to the 'gang upgrades' part of the in-game menu and invest in the stuff over on the right. Pubs, bookies, shops etc all produce an ever increasing stream of cash you can collect in the train safe.

To be honest I never really had too much of a problem with cash... it was the materials needed for the upgrades I used to run out of. Just keep doing all the side missions (hijacks/escorts etc) and as long as you don't blow it all on weapons and clothing purchases you should build up a tidy sum. You get many weapons and upgrades from completing the missions and ammo refills from looting every corpse in sight so you can save a lot of money that way too.

Towards the end of the game I had more cash coming in than I could possibly spend!

@stylon: so you don't actually have to buy the actual pubs and buildings like in the previous games? You just get the perk and it's automatic?

Don't see anyone playing this any more but just in case... the latest and final? Season Pass DLC is out now. The Last Marahaja mission pack which contains 10 new missions. Sadly no new achievements though which is disappointing.

Thanks Stylon. I've got the season pass so should get this. I've really neglected my gaming lately (mainly due to work). I think I'm still mid-mission on the Jack the Ripper DLC (!!!!). Christmas happened and Fallout 4 arrived. I've not really got into that (again not enough spare hours to play) and then started Tomb Raider. I really need to kick myself up the arse and get playing all these great games before buying any more. (Yes I mean you Quantum Break and Forza Horizon 3).
