@SirStephenH except unlike Netflix content that costs lots of money, SoM did not draw in a gazillion people to game pass for one, and secondly there are way more people who watch content than play video games.

You cannot get away with blowing money like that on GP and that is why these studios that made slop got the boot or got gutted. Mental gymnastics for political reasons is not going to change reality and hard financial data. These games are flops and Xbox is already working with a fraction of the gaming population. Comparing them to a juggernaut like Netflix is beyond absurd and stupid to the core. I'd like to also remind you that both Phil and Bond got kicked for helming the disastrous subscription model.

"Created for game pass" might as well be written as "designed to be slop." Netflix movies like kpop demon hunters could have been successful on their own in theaters. You have to create things from the beginning with the intent to please as many souls as possible if you want to be financially viable as a subscription service. Xbox is now realizing that the hard way.
