It's worth buying for a change of playstyle to conventional controls, just don't expect it to be amazing. I played it and enjoyed it, 6 is about right, worth getting on the cheap or renting if you are able to.
Aye they need to start making some AAA titles instead of messing around. The only titles worth owning are Dance Central, Kinect Sports, and Kinectimals (if you have kids)
Like the real thing, driving needs a physical wheel. It would be cool to somehow track your head movements so you could look around while driving from a inside view though.
Oh, and I think it would be better with a physical golf club with various sensor points on it. Its a pity you can't scan items in like it originally showed you
Well Tiger Woods admitted to his then wife he had 120 affairs, including ones with porn stars. I think thats the reason why we won't be seeing it this year.
I'll let you into a little secret...if you buy things early, you usually end up paying full price. If you look at any product, from cars to games consoles, you always pay more early on. A good example coming up will be the new 3DS. All the early adopters who pay full price will end up making it cheaper for me when I buy it later on.
Tennis is ideal for Kinect and should work pretty well. All the ball serving should work fine, as should the racket. Running will probably just require you to step forward / back / side, and the on screen player will run automatically forward.
Why is it depressing? It shows what Kinect is capable of and how the tech could be used in future games. There is a big difference between something like this and a marketable product that people would buy.
@Joe22 Party chat without Avatars has been around long before Wii Speak. If you want to be silly about it, you could say Nintendo copied off party chat programs used on PCs.
The whole "coped off" thing is kind of childish. People will always use ideas from other people and hopefully inovate and make it better in some way, much like how Kinect is a evolution over the Wii's controller, which was "copied" as you like to put it off someone else.
Impressive I didn't realize it could recognise facial expression. They do need to improve the voice commands though and offer up the whole dash for Kinect navigation though.

Re: Nyko Zoom Reaches United Kingdom Next Month
Anyone else got any reviews of this? It would be good to see how it performs in a number of games.
Re: Forza 4 Season Pass Puts You in the Driving Seat
How about they just put them all on the disc when you buy it. Also, haven't people already bought all the cars once on Forza 3?

Re: Survey Asks What You'd Like to See in Dance Central 2
@James Newton, nah, I doubt it will be as good as Dance Central from what i have read.
Re: Survey Asks What You'd Like to See in Dance Central 2
The main thing I would like to see if all Michael Jackson songs in the game.
Re: Twisted Pixel Yet to Make a Call on The Gunstringer's Format
It just looks more like a perfect 1st Kinect downloadable game to me. I can't really see it as a game you would buy a retail box of.
Re: First Michael Phelps - Push the Limit Trailer in its HD Glory
How are you meant to "swim" in this game anyway? It doesn't show anyone actually playing it for real.
Re: Watch the Joy Kinect Sports Brings to These Folk
It reminds me of those horrible mobile phone adverts with all the actors in the railway station dancing...if you know what I mean...
Re: The Gunstringer Rides into Xbox Live Arcade on Kinect
Love the advert, looks really fun!
Re: Carnival Games: In Action Strikes Kinect in April
And so it begins...the onslaught of shovelware. This game got horrible reviews on the Wii.
Re: EA Sports Looking to Bring Golf to Kinect in Future
I thought they would have stayed clear of him considering he's hardly a great role model anymore. I guess the $ is more important though.

Re: Every Kinect Should Come With a Robot Like This One
Beats virtual cats anyway.
Re: Michael Jackson Rocks With You in April
I don't see the point in this game. Why not just add Michael Jackson songs to Dance Central?
Re: Review: Game Party in Motion (Xbox 360)
Yeah M$ need to have better quality control. Shovelware like this doesn't do the cred of Kinect much good.
