I’m not sure who’s buying this at the moment, especially with SA being on gamepass. I’d really love to give Vice City another go as it’s one of my all time faves. But $60 is a ludicrous price for these games. At least split them up so people have to option to play them individually. I have no desire to play the other two.
While I’ve enjoyed the series all the way through, none of the games have ever really blown me away… except for Vice City that is. At the time it was perfection. Every element of the game was done masterfully. Of all the games I’ve ever wished to be remade, Vice City and Diablo 2 top the list. So I’m pretty excited that both will be receiving a makeover in the second half of 21.
Sonly would corner the entire mature gaming market. Then they would make their own streaming service and cut into GP sales. This isn't even accounting for loss in quality due to cross platform requirements. Xbox and Microsoft gaming would be completely irrelevant in 3-5 years.
As a sports nut I used to sink countless hours into these games, but I just can’t get myself hyped anymore. It’s the one genre of gaming where I’ve completely lost interest.
Vice City is an easy top 10er for me. It set a standard for atmospheric gaming that has rarely been matched since. And Tommy V… well what more needs be said? I agree with others here in regard to the apathetic exhaustion of remakes, but this has me excited.
@InterceptorAlpha That’s like the equivalent of telling someone with poor vision they can’t wear their glasses in an art museum. The difficulty level doesn’t change the artistic vision of a game, only the accessibility to the player.
I can’t recall ever even seeing a TV that supported 120hz. Seems they’re really going after a niche crowd here. Would like to see more games get the 60fps treatment, but hard to complain about free upgrades.
From a strategic perspective it makes zero sense for MS to make an acquisition like this and not make desirable titles exclusive to Xbox. Frankly it’s downright irresponsible. If Xbox doesn’t turn the tides and provide exclusive content to owners, there is virtually no reason to buy an Xbox over a PS5. You know your going to get quality exclusives on PS, and the spec difference is not too substantial. Business 101, competitive advantage is king. In the console wars, exclusive titles will always be the greatest differentiator.
Can't wait to play this. May finally pull me away from Fallout 76, which I've been thoroughly enjoying. Game Pass is the greatest thing to happen to gaming in years.
@Cyrus29 From what I’ve heard developers weren’t able to get their hands on the actual system kit until very close to release. The actual difference in power is actually pretty significant at about 17-20% computational capability.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 24th)
@Bmartin001 If there is a better game, I haven’t played it.

Re: Hold Up, Is A Crysis 2 Remaster Being Teased?
The “Remaster” charade is getting old fast. How about a Ryse 2, or a Crisis 4? I won’t be giving this studio any more of my money.

Re: Poll: Do You Think The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Be Exclusive To Xbox?
How is this even a question? ES is Bethesda’s flagship series. Of course it will be an Xbox exclusive. People will buy Xbox’s for that alone.

About damn time. Few games were more significant throughout my childhood than this gem.
