Blizzard has just announced a remaster of Diablo II for Xbox and multiple other platforms. It's officially titled Diablo II: Resurrected and will be arriving this year.
This remaster contains the base game and The Lord of Destruction. It features new visuals (and old ones, with a flick of a button), new audio, cross-progression (allowing you to continue playing on any platform) and online support for competitive ladder seasonal play, redesigned UI, an expanded stash and eight-player multiplayer.
Would you be interested in returning to Hell in Diablo II: Resurrected on the Xbox? Tell us in the comments below.

I can't wait. Hopefully they won't ***** it up like they did the Warcraft III Remaster.
Looks good. I am glad they didn't change the art design like they did with III. For you icky micky, you dead *****, you loved this game.
Yeah, WC3 Remaster was an abomination.
I hope they learn from the mistakes made from that mess, though Activision/Blizz are a massive moneymaking machine, I've lost respect/faith for them for some time now.
ABOUT. DAMNATION.TIME!!!!!!!!
This reminds me i still need to play diablo 3
Nice, a relic of the times when Blizzard made great games; the times when "a game made by Blizzard" was the equivalent of a "classic" game. Look forward to this.
Here's to hoping they don't ruin it like they did Warcraft 3: Reforged.
I don't have hopes though.
About damn time. Few games were more significant throughout my childhood than this gem.
Have only played Diablo 3 so am looking forward to this.
