@BacklogBrad not only that, the Motorsport games were always the games improving Forzatech for the sake of the physics and graphical clarity (not talking about graphical presentation which PG does better).
Sigh, chances of another Motorsports title is close to 0% unless Playground decides to try their hand on a sim game. Without a Motorsports game to advance the tech, the Horizon games are going to feel more stale than what they are right now.
If 15 studios brought their A game to the development to one game, then the game should be getting universal glowing reviews (disregarding the criticisms from those dudes who are offended up a ODST female being mean to Chief). Then this outsourcing of work isn't... working, which it didn't work with Forza Motorsport either. Hopefully bringing the help in-house with established FPS experience can fix that problem. It is a shame Halo Studios can't do it alone, but if there is a constant rotating door of developers in the studio then what do they expect? How can people put passion into the work if they have to worry about where to find work a year later. And people who know, passion is the difference between the quality of work that gets done. I don't blame the contractors either, why would I put in 100% to the studio if there is no guarantee of job security from them. But this cycle isn't clearly working and something different needs to be done.
@dskatter I think you're the type of customer XBOX needs to focus on. I'm sorta of the same boat as you. Might switch to PS if they keep porting their franchises over to other platforms. They need reasons for people to stay or join the XBOX ecosystem. It might not be hard for her to decide, but it will be hard for her convince Microsoft that they should have exclusives to bring/keep people in the ecosystem.
I believe they showed it the same day as the new Star Fox game was shown. I watched this the night of when they premiered it and the number of views seemed low. I'm glad it got way more views since then, love the energy in the presentation. Still waiting for the next Judgement game
