Hopefully it'll be included for physical copy owners as well (like myself). MS has usually been pretty good about this kind of stuff with including DLC for some of the OG Xbox games in the emulated versions and whatnot.
Interestingly enough, the OG Xbox releases of the games were titled Fatal Frame even in Japan. Also, those things cost a fortune here so I'm with you on hoping they release 1-3 as well.
The brand is certainly established but the fourth game, we don't whether it'll be good or not.
I don't mind jank as Alpha Protocol is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. As long as the game has an excellent narrative or characters, which I assume the first Witcher does, I could handle it.
Living in Japan, the Xbox is mostly considered a joke here still even though I do my best to sway all the people I come to contact with to check it out.
I was just standing in front of Surugaya's Xbox shelf the other day (used geek goods' chain here) and some young whippersnappers walked past me laughing, "who the hell has an Xbox, hahaha".
Most stores have a miniscule collection of Xbox stuff, physical releases are almost non-existent here (Japan got Scarlet Nexus and the next one was Saints Row - I really don't know why that one in particular - that's it).
In any case I'll probably be attending TGS to check it out.
I really have doubts about the whole Game Pass thing being attractive to Japanese gamers and that's where MS is putting its eggs into everywhere it seems.
The Japan Xbox team has a lot of work cut out for them for sure.
Picked up a cheap physical copy of The Witcher 3 in advance for the update. Last time played it on the PS5 with 30FPS (which wasn't bad by any means) so I can't wait to go at it again.
This is a bad move for Sony. It's the same kind of prideful attitude they had with PS3 and Microsoft with the fumbled Xbox One release. It's going to bite them in the long run.
Some of my acquaintances in Japan seem quite disappointed. First Sony started alienating the customers here with swapping the X and O buttons and now this.
Also, looking at the upcoming Sony pro controller, it looks much less appealing than the Elite. VR2 I can't imagine doing well either if it's coming early next year.
Time will tell I suppose. Great opportunity for MS to capitalize on this situation.
Since I have 2 360s and one Series X, I just might try and go for the final four. Always wanted to play coop with a buddy of mine on RA3 but never got around to it.
Just got back on the Xbox a few months ago with the Series X after a stint on the PS4 and PS5 and I have to say, I love the interface. It totally blows the PS5 out of the water with its customizability and overall usability. So I wouldn’t want it to change personally.

I'm not familiar with this. Could you give any examples of their conduct? Appreciate it!

Re: 'The Witcher 4' On Unreal Engine 5 Is The First Part Of A Multi-Game Saga
Honestly, I wish developers would just focus on one game first and then consider trilogies and whatnot after it proves itself worthy.
However, it'd be great if they could port the first game on the Xbox so I could experience "the first saga" fully.

Re: The First Two Of September 2022's Xbox Games With Gold Are Now Available
Very cool to have an OG Xbox game there. It's a shame these are going away.
Re: Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection - A Radical Bundle Of Beat 'Em Ups
Glad to see this being a seemingly proper release with good emulation.
Re: 'Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma' Marks Franchise's 2nd Outing On Xbox
Glad to see more of them coming over, really good sign for the system and it doing well. Hopefully we'll get physical releases for them in the future.

TMNT all the way.
On a slightly other note, I found this site because it posted about upcoming physical releases. Hopefully that'll come back.
