@Sakai I barely use xim to be honest… I barely play multiplayer FPS anymore personally…
The only real success with stopping xim was a few years ago when epic updated fortnite to disconnect gamers that had instant left stick movement to 100%… since when you use wsad it was clearly making the left stick go 0-100% right away… xim just updated the software within 24 hours where it created a ramp up to speed to simulate left stick when pressing a keypad…
So far in call of duty the only players getting warnings are people running scripts with their device… xim should have never allowed this in their firmware… people instantly found backwards ways to create less recoil and other stupid cheats essentially… before last year xim literally was just a device to allow other devices… these days you’re better off just using the native mouse keyboard support in nearly every game… but the nexus controller gyro aim is really amazing the little I’ve used it.
@Sakai There’s been no bans since this update. I’m aware of it. Ricochet is looking for weird movement.. the device literally can’t be read since xim sends all data through an official controller though. There was some worry on the xim forums awhile back…. Nothing came of it.
@Titntin I was curious since I have a nexus. On their forum they already said there isn’t going to be an issue on any device they have with this change.
Also as far as xim being banned… this has never happened in the history of the device… however when they updated the firmware to create scripts of your own… things like ricochet for call of duty can detect weird anti recoil stuff… but it isn’t detecting the device itself… so just don’t use cheating scripts with it basically….
@Titntin All Xim products will be unchanged by this. When you use your xim nexus controller the Xbox only reads from the official controller you plug in.
@Banjo- There’s actually no currency to purchase outside the founders packs right now.. in a ways the game hasn’t been very pay to win for the most part…. The main use of the currency at the moment is to skip tiers on the battle pass faster. They do allow you to purchase cosmetics with it… but that’s a waste to spend your limited currency on during early access. That’s probably going to change big time in September.
I imagine you’ll be able to level up the racers and crew using real money once it’s free to play… People who haven’t participated in early access will probably have to spend hundreds upon hundreds to catch up to anyone that’s been playing daily since the beginning. Otherwise you won’t even be close to competitive in the main MP rank mode once you move up the ranks just a little bit and start facing people playing since April.

Re: Star Wars Battlefront Returns To Xbox With 64-Player Online Battles This March
@InterceptorAlpha is gyro support confirmed somewhere? That would literally be the only reason I would personally go ahead and purchase it actually.

Re: Redfall Will Only Run At 30FPS When It Launches On Xbox Series X And S
Well… definitely won’t be playing this until a few patches down the road it sounds like.
