Re: Five Years On, Xbox Series S Is Still A Fantastic Place For Current-Gen Gaming

I play on my S a lot. I had a 360 then bounced to the ps3 then ps4 and a pro and finally the ps5. I got my S because the ps5 just isn't clicking with me this generation. I was bored last year and saw the S with 3 months added gamepass and that was that. I had missed all the gear games and halo's which are in gp so it has been amazing value. I will keep my ps5 but my next console will probably be an xbox.

Xbox is costing me a small fortune at this time as after 15 years on PlayStation (I still have my ps5) I came back to xbox and have begun almost replicating my ps library on xbox as its my main system now and I'm working my way through the new doom via gamepass (the limited edition doom controller is amazing) cyberpunk 2077 and starwars outlaws on my xbox. I think I have purchased 70 games since I got my xbox last year so I am very happy with xbox. The cloud gaming works as well which I was surprised about.

Re: It Might Be Old, But The Xbox 360 Is Still An Amazing Console In 2024

I had 4 xbox 360, 2 red rings and 2 dvd drive fails pushed me to get a ps3 at the time (still have it and it still works good for killzone, infamous, motorstorm etc.) it took over 10 years to go back to xbox but I still remember the 360 fondly even with the pain. Now I have ps5 and a series s and I play the series s more.

Played it for 4 hours last night on the S, I didn't come across any bugs. I was surprised that it looks so good on the S. 30fps is alright but the movement feels like they went for a very realistic feel so I had to turn the sensitivity way up for the controller. I died a lot but that gives the game a 'one more go' quality. Game gets a thumbs up from me.
