This is what rockstar deserves for this extremely horrible marketing campaign. Over ten years of teases, then a logo, then wait years for another trailer, then another year for a trailer... This is the worst marketing campaign I've ever seen. Then they went no disc's to stop leaks and it happened anyways. Someone at rockstar really needs fired and they need to get back in touch with their fan base that they basically alienated. Drip feed updates on a huge game fans don't want. Digital only fans don't want. Aggressive always on drm like the pc rockstar games NOBODY WANTS. Rockstar needs to get back in touch with reality.
This game is just really bad. Barely even a fallout game. Doesn't feel like a normal fallout. Just a single player game tethered to a server cos playing as a fallout game because it's post apocalyptic. It doesn't have the soul of a fallout game or the humor. And the fact that most of the time you are alone in the game proves Bethesda could and should have made this an offline game with optional online features. I really do hope it's true that TES online and fallout 76 are soon losing new updates. They need to focus on single player games that are offline and not tethered to a server. Fallout 76 feels like it was intended as an offline game but they added always online drm.
Oddly, on my Xbox one, everything worked just fine online during this outage, EXCEPT, I was playing the elder scrolls oblivion which is a 360 game and it wouldn't sign in during backwards compatibility and I couldn't sync anything. But everything else Xbox one wise worked. I was on the store looking at and downloading gamepass titles and then played cities skylines.
