I know it's not one of the more popular FF series, but FF XIII looks and plays fantastic on the XSX. I've not played the other two games in the trilogy but I would assume they were given the same kind of love when made available for the XSX/S.

It makes sense it wouldn't be on Game Pass since it's free-to-play already. I messed around with this game every now and then it's a pretty decent game to kill some time with. I think it'll do well on the Xbox, especially with parents who are looking for games for their kids.

The advertisements, in general, can go, though I know they won't. I can deal with the game or console-related ones because those make sense. Mickey D's ads, though... nope. It's a shame a perk of the highest game pass tier doesn't include not seeing these non Xbox-related ads.

@Xbox_Dashboard Yep. A final "goodbye" sale would be great.

I'm looking forward to this one. I wish it had a physical release for the Xbox, though.

I know this is a pipe dream but it'd be nice if MS put all of the non-BC games on sale before they shut down the store.

@Fiendish-Beaver As long as the consoles are backwards compatible, I'd need a drive, too, as I have a number of games on disc that I'd want to play on my modern system.

@G4n0nD0rf an external optical drive for backwards compatible games would be a pretty cool thing that have!

I don't mind the design, though I prefer the black version of the Series X. It's a shame they went with a weaker Series S at launch and not a discless Series X but it is what it is.

I could see them putting Diablo II or III on Game Pass, to start things off. I don't expect to see WoW on the Xbox but perhaps an Xbox version of Warcraft is in the works.

It'd be rad to have non-BC games go on a massive sale before they close down the story for good.

It's about time, though I doubt I'll get it as I already have it for the PC (all of the expansions) and the PS (most of the expansions).

At this point, MS should throw in the towel WRT the acquisition and throw tons of money at AKB to block Sony from getting CoD, just like Sony does all the time.

@Stoned_Patrol If you download the Bing app, you can get access to the MS Rewards app through it. That's how I access it on my android phone.

On one hand, I'd like to play OT 2 on my Xbox since I'm playing through the first one on it. On the other hand, it would be groovy to get the FF pixel remasters. However, since I also have as PS, I'll still be able to play them so I'm not missing out on them.

@FenIsMightier SE putting Octopath Traveler 2 on the PS5 boggles the mind, though if SE isn't see the sales numbers on the MS machines, I makes sense. I've been having fun with the first one and would rather play #2 on my Xbox, too.

Everything is working for me but the "Check out this featured game" entries.

I'm glad I have a PS5 at times like this. Still, I'm not a fan of this kind of exclusivity. I get why a first-person studio would keep its games exclusive. This third-party stuff is for the birds.

I wouldn't mind getting an Oreo controller but the console (or the stand it's sitting in) looks goofy.

Part of me wishes I could download OG Xbox games to my OG Xbox and play them on it.

Though I highly doubt they would given the amount of $ they'd be throwing away, I'd like to see MS not give Sony any new CoD games if (when) the deal goes through.

I wish they'd let us put as little content as possible on the home screen. It seems silly to give us the ability to put custom backgrounds on it and then cover up said backgrounds with clutter.

'Tis a pity that Deadly Premonition isn't in this sale. Seems like a good title to have in the "Shocktober" sale.

I might have to try out Mech Assault. It's been eons since I've played it but I remember having a lot of fun doing so.

FFXIV has the best turnaround, in my opinion. They scrapped the whole thing, redid it, and now it's one of the biggest MMOs out there. No Man's Sky had a pretty good turnaround as well.
