Dear Fraser, Just wanted to inform you that KI has never left or gone anywhere. We've had countless of online tournaments since quarantine started, with Evo 2020 Online being cancelled, one in particular have taken the load of hosting the largest KI tournament of 2020, called KI United.
In fact, the Killer Instinct World Cup was recently announced for 2021 with a gang of online sanctioned tournaments with top 16 finishes earning points throughout the season leading up to the KIWC Championships. More information on KIWC and the KI community (that has never left and been the ONLY game since launch to have avid players still playing online and finding ranked matches within seconds) Follow @quakeviking and myself @usmc_rotendo for your KI fix and information on all things Killer Instinct.
