@Grackler Honestly. Some of these comments are absurd. They'd be stupid even if they weren't entirely beside the point.

The real story here isn't that MS removed this hacky, broken, copyright-infringing product from their store. It's that they allowed it to be there to begin with. Imagine running a brick-and-mortar business and being surprised to find that you're selling something months after you started putting it on shelves. Why do we allow this kind of thing from digital retailers? Just because you can effectively maintain infinite inventory shouldn't absolve you of the responsibility to curate it.

This isn't unique to MS, either. These digital marketplaces have completely abandoned any vetting of the software that they sell. Just look at the piles of low-rent digital trash clogging up the Nintendo eShop, rendering the "upcoming releases" tab completely useless. Sony and Steam have plenty of garbage available as well, although I do feel like they at least do a better job of shoving it into the background.

Best to make the money now and sort out the problems after they happen, apparently. Despicable.
