@gollumb82 @gollumb82 Fallout 76 is a great single player experience if you do the following:

  • activate passive mode as mentioned above. That way you won’t accidentally shoot someone during an event
  • you only drop junk when you die so no worries about dropping weapons and such. Always drop off junk and loot at your camp to avoid losing precious materials early on.
  • join a casual team for a boost to intelligence stat (helps you level faster) you don’t have to actually play with them but help to have people for events
  • the community is one the best of any online game I’ve ever played. Level 330 and never been attacked by an online player. High levels coming up to you probably means they want to help you by giving you items. Don’t trade with randoms. Look on the online trade sites if you want to do that.
