This game is quite heavy on PC as well. 30fps at 1080p makes sense on XSS, but there should have been a 720p drs mode for 60fps. Metro Exodus dropped to around 480p on XSS and people didn't seem to complain much about that. Maybe there is something about the game that is memory bandwidth intensive, that is probably the biggest problem performance issue for the XSS
Comparing this to the Horizon series is ridiculous. FH5 looks amazing and is incredibly fun, but not really going after the same thing as GT or Forza.
Have preferred Forza since the first one released, haven't played 7 though. Until I played GT Sport a few months ago that is. The physics and handling feel so spot on and..... fun in that game. If GT7 nails down that feel even more and has more content (Sport seems like a really big demo, to me at least) it will be an incredible game that will probably be my go to racer for a long time.
I don't see the need for any one to get feathers ruffled over this. Comparing to an older game like Forza 7 is not fair. And there will be a hole in this genre to be filled until Forza 8 releases.
Support the Series consoles if buying new. There should be plenty of One S/X on the used market. People purchasing new Xbox Ones will make this compromised crossgen period last even longer.
Most people should see big benefits from the Series consoles even if they are not playing cutting edge games. FPS boost games, stable frame rate on non FPS boost games and load times alone are worth the jump to a Series console
Great to see some shmup and shooter attention from Xbox. These are not poor selections at all. Haha, wish I could trade someone the Persona 5 Strikers I will be getting from PS+ for Radiant Sivergun!!
