@JaffeGaffe there's no reason to believe RAM is going to be an issue on this device. It's running a stripped down version of windows that saves significant amounts of RAM just on the OS. Then you are going to be running low resolutions, and lower settings. You'd have horsepower issues long before RAM issues.

@Balaam_ I'm all on board for digital only, even if it's just a sku. I have been digital only on console and pc for years. There's no simpler way manage, and keep your library.

@Feffster because the other team have to agree. You can start with whatever negotiation you want, but it won't matter if the other party isn't interested.

@GADG3Tx87 basically if iPhone has YouTube, Spotify, Netflix and Android doesn't. Meanwhile iPhone has every app Android has, and the functionality is the same. Then yeah you'd be crazy to get Android.

@Toot1st if iPhone had all the top tier iPhone apps and all the top tier Android apps with the same exact performance and functionality. Meanwhile Android only has Android apps which means it's missing huge top tier apps, then yeah there would be no reason to get Android.

@RadioHedgeFund the hardware is 99.9% the same. And if you haven't noticed, people who game tend to buy Windows pcs, because it's where the games are going to be 99.9% of the time. Which is my point. If Xbox only plays Xbox, and Playstation plays both... There's zero reason to get Xbox. It's an equal cost console, with equal performance, missing a plethora of top tier games. And I love my Xbox, but this is a crazy road they are going down.

@RadioHedgeFund at some point there is no point in the Xbox existence. If Playstation can play all Playstation games, and all Xbox games, there's no reason to go Xbox. So pretending exclusives don't matter is kinda crazy to say.

I'd check it out if it hits gamepass.

@Tecinthehead Rare was going out of business when Xbox acquired them. Under Xbox we've gotten Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Viva Pinata series, Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts, Killer instinct (helped), Kinect sports, Sea of Thieves, Battletoads... And now Everwild is being developed by them. They've honestly thrived under Xbox, and it's a blessing they didn't go out of business.

@Mephisto2869 make a quick buck off what? Plenty of third parties have been officially licensed for years by Microsoft. So what are you even on about? And I don't really care why Microsoft did it. If the end result is eliminating cheating devices, this is a huge win for consumers. So few people use unlicensed devices on Xbox. This is a great move by Microsoft.

@Mephisto2869 no, pro consumer is getting rid of the devices completely. Because if you give an inch, the cheaters will figure out how to take a mile. This is awesome news from Xbox.

@Titntin this is a breath of fresh air. I am over the moon with this decision. Cronus Zen has been running rampant on Xbox, and I really hope this is able to kill it.

@InterceptorAlpha by far the biggest issue with cheating on Xbox is the cronus zen, and it's not even close. Nothing else is even in the ballpark of being worth discussing. If this does nothing but stop cronus zen (and similar devices) this is a huge win for Xbox gamers.

@jedinite you don't need to use a first party wheel. This isn't blocking third party wheels that are officially supported by Xbox. You understand that right?

@Raw_Dawg pay more for what? I don't even own any accessories that aren't Xbox certified, very few people do percentage wise. Getting rid of cheating far outweighs a few dollars spent.

@Raw_Dawg giving zero freedom away here. I believe in the second amendment, I carry daily. And I prefer cheating devices to be banned from my gaming platforms. Xbox certified third party devices are already a thing. And I have no issues with first or certified third party devices.

@Raw_Dawg and that concern is completely outweighed by the benefit of getting rid of cheating devices. I'd gladly pay more for a controller if it eliminates cheating devices.

@suikoden pc you have to choose perform or graphics also. You will always have to do so. It's all about finding a happy medium. Higher graphics will always come with lower frames.

@RadioHedgeFund games are just more fun with friends. I'm all for having the option for co-op. That's what is so great about Xbox games.

@BionicDodo at least Microsoft gives you both mobile and pc as other platforms to play on. Sony tends to horde franchises like Spider-Man, Bloodbourne etc... Even though Souls games have been elsewhere, and Spider-Man was on other platforms since the dawn of gaming lol. I'd say out of all the big game companies, Microsoft is the most generous with their titles.

@BionicDodo any time a game is on gamepass it's a win for gamers. Very rarely would I ever go out and drop $60 on a single player game (almost never). But I will play the hell out of them on gamepass. Huge win for gamers in my eyes 👍

@InterceptorAlpha guessing there's probably something weird with your setup. Either you have something enabled or disabled that you shouldn't, or something with your isp or router configured incorrectly etc...
