Ehh, no. People are just sick and tired of paying €70 for a broken game on launch that needs multiple patches before it becomes a game in a playable state. This has a knock on effect, people get sick of being shafted and are learning to vote with their wallets.

Happy to hear this. I play 2K23 quite a lot with my friend, but I won’t be buying this until a few months after launch. I’ll wait for it to go down in price and get patched up.

Yeah, nobody is surprised by this. Their lack of clear communication and direction has pushed potential buyers away. I love Xbox (and PlayStation) but I worry about what their next gen will be like. I don’t want to move to cloud gaming. I really hope that Xbox’s next console is an ultra powered, kick ass, physical machine with great games to play.

I am absolutely buzzing for this! I seriously cannot wait.

Was disappointed when I saw the score here, but on Opencritic it has a ‘Mighty’ 86 score. So that’s made me feel better! Looking forward to playing this.

@OldGamer999 same, I am really looking forward to Indy but I will wait first to see if there are bugs/issues galore. I can wait for a better experience if needed.

Genuine question.. how does a game release in such a bad state? Do they seriously not have any testers or quality assurance? It has taken them just one week to release a patch to address these OBVIOUS issues, so how is it that they did not come across the issues before launch? It’s baffling to me.

Looking forward to playing this but, like with all new releases, I will be waiting 3-6 months to play it. Gives them time to tidy it up. At least it’s on game pass so I won’t need to wait for a sale!

Between Stalker 2 in November & this in December, we are being spoilt. Xmas this year is going to be busy for me gaming wise! Can’t wait!

Ubisoft are just really weird. This game was one of their best in a long time. They keep making ridiculous decisions. Give the gamers what they want… P.S we want Splinter cell.

Played multiplayer for the first time in years and I actually really enjoyed it. The only thing I really dislike though is the amount of adware in the menus! There is too much going on for my liking.

Maybe if Microsoft stopped making ridiculous decisions that ***** over their loyal fans, then this might be different.

Am reeeeeally getting tired of Microsoft’s nonsense lately. Like can’t they do anything … just right?! Every single thing from them just seems to be confusing and complicated now. I absolutely love Xbox but it really feels like they are a complete shambles at the moment, and it only looks like getting worse.

Will games that are on sale now.. be possibly further discounted in the main sale? Or is this as good as it’s going to get?

Really excited for gaming over the next 12 months. I have some great games in my wishlist that are already out but there are some great games (both exclusive & non excl) that are being released over the next 12-18 months. I still have a feeling we will see something big announced in terms of hardware towards the end of the year.. perhaps the rumoured handheld device or something?

Anno 1800 was a game I always wanted to get into but I get the impression you need to dedicate a lot of time into picking up the basics!

Missed the live show but got to watch the replay just now! And damn am I happy!.. this is the showcase that us Xbox fans have been waiting for and deserved! So many great titles and lots of them are day 1 on game pass. Delighted would be an understatement!

What are people’s thoughts on this if they announce a price increase for game pass? Say if they increase it by $5 a month, you’re effectively just paying a $60 a year to play COD

Okay what on earth is going on with Team Xbox? With the recent cuts, the threat of more cuts, and now potentially a further price increase for game pass?!.. it’s like they are trying to push people (including loyal fans) away!

Genuine question folks.. to people saying that you are done with your Xbox.. will you go to PC? Playstation? Nintendo?

Really happy about the 60 fps option and I am looking forward to getting stuck into Starfield when the update is released. I understand 60 fps is not important for everyone one, but for me personally it’s a big deal!

Alan wake 2 is a whole whopping 20% off. Oh yayyy. Pathetic

Once again day 1 buyers get burned and I have to say that I have no sympathy for them. I will consider getting DD2 in 6 months time when its patched up and 30% off.

I know it would never happen, but I would love it if unlocking achievements in a game also gave you points as well as gamerscore. So for example, if you unlock a 10G achievement, you get 10 points too, and so on. Like I said…. That’s wishful thinking!

The only game currently on my wishlist is Alan Wake 2, but I won’t buy it unless its at least 40% off so I don’t have high hopes I’m afraid!

They have literally told us what they will be showing off and yet people still go and create rumours about other things happening, really annoys me. Just look forward to the content they have told us about!

I think Microsoft deserves a lot of credit for this announcement. Kept it under wraps, then announced it with only a week to go, and they clearly outline exactly what will be shown/discussed. No unnecessary chinese whispers etc. Can’t wait.

Sorry folks, I know this is off topic so forgive me.. but is there section on Pure Xbox to find/meet new xbox friends to play with? I had a quick look on the forums but didn’t see anything thread etc. I would like to just find some similiar minded & aged players for multiplayer games or just general party chat
