This feels more like an optimisation thing. I mean PC developers have to account for weaker versions so why can’t these guys?

I should bring up that the reason the Switch version is online compatible is because the Nintendo Switch online N64 games are specifically designed to be online as part of the service. This is likely a direct port of the original with no added features, hence why Switch has online but Xbox doesn’t.

That’s a scummy move. Content should not be exclusive between versions unless they all have something exclusive.

This was about what I was expecting. The original wasn’t anything spectacular but it was good arcade style fun.

@themightyant I bought a series S because it was cheaper. I don’t care about frame rate or resolution since I don’t have a 4K tv.

What even is this generation. This should not be happening.

I still don’t know why Remake isn’t coming to Xbox. From a business perspective they’re cutting out a large chunk of potential customers, doesn’t make sense.

@Kooky_Daisuke I heard that it was a disappointment. And one of the main complaints I heard was the main character having a voice. I think voiced characters work when the character is a set character with a definable arc. When it’s a character created by the player designed to put themselves in the game, giving the character a voice doesn’t work.

Oh thank god. I hate RPGS where your player character has a voice. I’d rather imagine how they sound in my head.

Am I the only one who doesn’t care about big AAA exclusives? I gotta be honest most of Sony and Microsoft’s first party line up doesn’t interest me at all, I’m more interested in the third party and indie stuff. As long as I have something to play I’ll be happy.

I played it recently thanks to Gamepass and thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t usually go for games like this so Gamepass was the perfect excuse to try it.

Crunch is usually the result of mismanagement. Being “anti crunch” while also not having clearly defined goals or leadership is like making a pencil with no lead to fight lead poisoning.
