You know, after 21 years since the last game, the developer shutting down 15 years ago, the owner of the developer shutting down 14 years ago, and the small amount of cartoony properties from Microsoft for all these 24 years of disappointment from Xbox, I'm starting to think that we might not get a new Blinx for a few years.

SteamVR games would be great, although I'm not confident about Microsoft supporting VR headset functionality on their Xbox-Windows-Steam platform, at least natively.

How are people excusing this? Activision is a multibillion dollar corporation that is owned by a TRILLION dollar corporation. There's should be absolutely no excuse on why a company with that much money and resources can't even pay an artist or freelancer to make a weapon or weapon skin for them.

And then people wonder why Microsoft is raising prices and shutting down studios and whatnot. It's almost like their fan base is licking their boots and allowing this to happen!

It'd be one thing if they were just simply using AI tools. AI can be a great tool, but AI generated art being used for one of the biggest game franchises? No. If an indie developer can, so can a mega developer.

I dig the art style personally, although I know some people won't like the cutscenes' frame rate style. I'm very interested in this, and I can't wait to see more.

@Ver To be fair, Street Fighter V was funded by Sony and probably wouldn't have happened (at least at the time) if Sony didn't fund the project. It sucks that it skipped Xbox, but it did have a legitimate reason why.

I'm only digital for Xbox and PC. I like having my physical games for PlayStation and Nintendo since those consoles have my favorite games and franchises, and since I already have Game Pass.

I honestly don't even use my Xbox anymore, I just use my PC, and I honestly wish I didn't get a Series S because I hate the lack of a disk drive. I will always prefer having the option of a disk drive.

So what I'm saying is, I hate Xbox and I hope Microsoft goes bankrupt.

@LuciaThicc Wow is this such a blind perspective. There's a reason why people still buy physical. Digital content can removed at any moment, and not everyone wants to pay monthly for a service.

Also, "the minority" means nothing. Physical games still sell. Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 games sell millions physically.
Does this mean every game has to be physical? No. But you should not devalue the existence of physical media just because you think it's inconvenient. So no, I will not deal with it.

Microsoft says they care about their IP, but they have hundreds of franchises that were left abandoned that they could have chosen to revive rather than just acquire two big gaming companies.

Honestly not a huge fan of these prediction articles on what's leaving Game Pass. Kinda feels like fear-mongering to me as none of this is confirmed.
I would rather not worry that Paw Patrol will leave the platform one day, thank you very much.

You know, I would love a VR Halo, or a good VR Doom, or just VR anything from Xbox.

I get why they haven't gotten into the industry yet, but when the VR industry starts to be much more stable, I hope Xbox jumps in and shows some meaningful competition against Meta, Sony, Valve whenever they wake up from their coma, and I guess HTC.

Bloons TD 6 is actually pretty good, but $30 for a port of a port of a five year old mobile game sounds like a bit much.
