Marvel Cosmic Invasion Is Suddenly A 'Day One' Xbox Game Pass Title, Arriving In December

I'm playing this with the kids 100%!!! I was debating buying it over the break so now i can save some cash. We've already all argued why we should be the ones to play as Venom... clearly my argument is the best.

I loved the turtles game these guys made so this should be great fun for me I'll definitely give the online co-op a go aswell!!!

It's a great addition. Me and a friend will be playing this one coop no doubt about it.

I mean ok....cool? Im going to play the heck out of it with my kids but for what 2 3 hours until we beat it? The more GP goes on the more I cannot justify it any longer. With a game like where winds meet out there I am feeling jaded with these other AAA studios out here.

With my Gamepass subscription ending the day after Christmas, this will be a great swan song game to play with my son.

Gamepass Ultimate is a service that is almost a luxury and not within everyone's reach, but what it offers is still incredible, light years ahead of what Nintendo or Playstation offer with their services.

Hopefully a lot of you jumping at this played the steam demo and know to keep expectations mid. No retro beat em up after TMNT has been close to that. For example I am glad I waited on power rangers to be in a for you deal which made it like 2.49 after using some Microsoft rewards.

I'd rather directly support and own the game for $25 than rent it monthly for more.

I agree, partly.
£23 a month, £276 a year is definitely a luxury spend.
Loaded are selling 12 month Ultimate codes for just under £119.
That's just under £10 a month.

With all the extra gubbins, THAT price makes it 'worth it'.

And compare THAT lower price to the other 2 platform offerings, it blows em away.

@Gabrie I mean yeah, a $360 a year service better offer more than a $50 a year service.

I tried the demo on Steam a couple weeks ago. This game is cool. Wolverine's moves were a little samey look. Capt. America was cool because he has a shield throw, shield bash, kick, block/counter, special, and bunch of other distinct-looking stuff to combo into.

@HeavyHoggJP just play games and stop complaining Jesus Christ. Who cares if it's a 4 hour game. It's plenty of more games on here to enjoy also not just this one. Enjoy

@HeavyHoggJP Gamepass isn't for everyone, I play all kinds of games and a bit of everything, so for me it's 100% worth it. This past year has been Absolutely Stacked. It has added a ton to my backlog. I'm enjoying my gaming

@HeavyHoggJP Beat 'Em Ups have always generally been games that are meant for repeat playthroughs, with newer ones usually because the characters play pretty differently.

@Gabrie yeah if you don’t mind renting your games then fine. I prefer to buy mine on a disc and own them. I need PS plus to play GT online and the game rentals are an added bonus. I’d never dine off PS plus rentals indefinitely however. But I supposed games from the essential tier you do get to keep as long as you’re subbed

@GamingGod If anyone is just dining off subscription service games they are doing it wrong for sure!
Personally I just buy what I like and want to own and rent the rest basically how I have my whole gaming life haha

@Chip-Douglas oh yes. I remember going to the local video shop (remember those?😂) and trying out a game before begging my parents to go and buy it for me. Which more often than not never happened. I just think this model that MS/spotify/Netflix have created where you literally own nothing is detrimental to what we as consumers actually get for our (mostly) hard earned money. Which is why I still go out and buy physical media today so I do own something for my money.
