Re: Phil Spencer On Game Exclusivity: 'We Have To Anticipate There's Going To Be More Change'

H00Pz

Honestly, exclusives just aren't for me right now. The last one I played was Spiderman on PS5 before I realised I was finished with PlayStation. I don't even play exclusives on Xbox. Most of the stuff I play is all third party stuff.

Like maybe it's just because exclusives aren't as plentiful to my tastes anymore. Like out of all the exclusives that are big at the moment on any of the consoles, none of them scream play me first to me. Hell, even when Starfield came out, I only got around to it two months ago and then got overwhelmed with what to do in it and quit it for now. I'm sure I'll go back to it at some stage but I'd genuinely much rather 3rd party stuff.

I don't get why people only choose a console for exclusives. There's so much more to a system then what games are exclusives, like for example, there's the controller, the kind of games that are on the system as a whole, the features, the ui, backwards compatibility, the types of games on the streaming service it may have and the like just off the top of my head.

Re: Reaction: Xbox's Push Towards 'Microsoft Gaming' Looks More Drastic Than We First Thought

I'm probably one of the few who will stick with Xbox. I'm a big Xbox guy. Obviously today's news sucks, it's a big blow to Xbox in Japan with Tango closing and the fact they made Hi-Fi Rush will be a big blow to fans. I seriously hope the people affected get jobs quick and get back on their feet.

I'm gonna stick with Xbox since I've spent 15 years with them and have a large digital library of games which I ain't buying all over again. I honestly don't care about any of the three companies exclusives at the moment. I'll get around to them eventually but I've more important things to play.

I'm honestly at the point where if there's no more Xbox, I'd be happy to just play my backlog and enjoy it. I don't care for PlayStation at all, I haven't for years. I never carried about Nintendo. I'm that into Xbox. Once I ever finish my backlog if Xbox is gone, I'd happily quit gaming.

Whatever the outcome, I'm there for the ride. As long as I can continue to play my games, I'd be happy if I'm being honest.

Re: Microsoft Gauges Interest In 'Handheld Gaming' Devices With New Survey

H00Pz

I'd be down for a handheld from Microsoft/Xbox. As long I could access my existing library of games I'd be happy. I don't particularly have any interest in a Steam Deck or an Asus ROG Ally as I'm not really a PC kind of guy.

I wouldn't mind having the ability to play PC games on an Xbox handheld as I know there's people who would find it handy. The main draw for me though would be being able to play my console games on the device.

Hi @GrandValkyrie

The reason I only went with Xbox is just personal preference. I've tried a PS5 and a switch and while I can see why people would like them, I realised that they are just not for me. Nothing grabs me on them like Xbox does. I played the first Spiderman on PS5 and then I had enough of PlayStation. They don't interest me the same way they did in 2014 - 2017. Nintendo, I was never really into. I had a DS years ago and really liked it but nothing else ever interested.

It's just Xbox means more to me then the others and it's makes me the most happy.

This is what I don't get about this site sometimes. We're all quick to jump to conclusions and think doom and gloom once bad news comes out, but whenever good or great news comes out, it's like nothing happened. Instead of being happy, we either have a light applause or we have people having a moan.

Trust me, if you just focus on the consoles you have and have a very light focus on the other consoles, you'll feel a lot better. I'm a Xbox only guy by choice, Xbox just suits me better than the others. The only PlayStation news I get is from arguments on this site.

All I'm saying is just be content with what we have and enjoy it while in the moment as believe me, it could be a lot worse.

I see so much negativity on this site that you would think that it's all doom and gloom with Xbox!

Look we need to lighten up a bit. At the end of the day, Microsoft is a massive company. They are going to do what they think is right for them. I say, we just ride it out and try to enjoy ourselves instead of being negative all the time. If we don't agree with something they do, so be it. We'll kick up a fuss as people tend to do.

I reckon Xbox will be around for a while yet. You don't pay nearly 70 billion for a company just to give up.

@Ricky-Spanish
I agree. There's new Xbox systems coming out, there's the supposed handheld console and games are still being made by Xbox and third parties for the system.

It's not like we never get any new games on Xbox. As long as we're still getting games and being supported, we're good.

Re: Talking Point: What's Your Favourite Thing About Xbox Right Now?

H00Pz

Backwards compatibility is the big point for me as I love being able to play a good amount of 360 stuff like Skate 3, Saints Row 2, Orange Box, Tekken 6 and Tag 2.
I also love the UI and the controller. I love everything Xbox.
I'm not really into the first party range for either Xbox or Sony. So I'm just happy to have the ecosystem of Xbox at my fingertips. If I play Starfield, cool. If I don't, it's not the end of the world. To me, it's more about the whole package rather then having a machine for specific games. I tried Switch and Ps5, they weren't for me. Xbox works for me 100%.

Re: Starfield, Indiana Jones And Many Other 'Xbox Exclusives' Could Be Heading To PS5

H00Pz

I gotta be honest, if there is no more Xbox consoles made in the future after next gen, then I'm probably just gonna stop gaming. I have no interest in PlayStation or Nintendo, I never really have for Nintendo. I had a PS5, beat Spiderman remastered and then sold it as I couldn't find a reason to care about the system.

I much preferred the PS2/3 dags of Sony and nothing about modern PlayStation interests me. I'll probably ride out the next while as a Xbox guy and just enjoy it while I can. I've been an Xbox guy since 2008 and I love it to this very day.

I hope Xbox as a brand sticks around for a long time but I can only hope. Its a weird time we live in nowadays as a Xbox supporter.
