I'd hate this, but I wouldn't play a game with ads. So if people do play the game with ads then it's a great financial idea I guess 😂

I don't want games to die but I personally think the calls for physical media are from a loud minority. Digital truly is the way forward for most gamers in my opinion because it's simply more convenient. For me, what I want most from the next Xbox is backwards compatibility, fair price point and high end graphics. Oh, and VAST AMOUNTS OF STORAGE SPACE!! 😄

@Drewdub I didn't find it anywhere near as immersive as Fallout 4 but I'd say it's highly underrated, especially with comments like yours mate. The world building team put a lot of time and effort into the environmental details. And the gameplay is pretty fun too. Is it up there with Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V or Witcher? No, but I think with a free price tag everyone should give it a go at the very least.

Teardown is a MASSIVELY underrated game imo. I actually expected it to be as big as Minecraft. Technically, it's a bloody huge achievement and I personally think everyone should at least give it a go. Absolutely love this game.

Tempted for Resi 4 at that price. I absolutely loved the original, but I played the demo and wasn't sold on it because a lot of the layout seemed different and I was hoping for more of a 1 to 1 remake. But tempted to bite on the remake at that price...

If you don't like the service a company is offering, don't give them your money. Find another hobby or a rival company that offers what you want at a better price. Simple as 👍

I personally really enjoyed Call of Duty Cold War and it was a shame there weren't many playing it to guarantee a match. So seeing it being added to Gamepass gives me hope of a wee bit of a revival for the game. It's a proper, slower, boots on the ground Cod that I personally really enjoy and prefer over the bunny hopping newer ones. Plus, there was a core emphasis on unlocking stuff through gameplay rather than paying for it through DLC, so I think if anything that should be commended! Reinstalling Cold War now in prep for a slight resurgence 🤞😂

I was pretty hyped for it, but I played 20 mins and just couldn't enjoy it. Even when I was winning it didn't feel engaging and I don't know why. I still absolutely love Cod WWII but this one just felt a bit meh? The level design was OK, gameplay was OK. Everything was just OK.

Controversial opinion maybe but I personally think Agents of Mayhem and Homefront Revolution are an absolute steal at those prices. I had a good amount of fun with them!

So tempted to get Sonic Frontiers! I'm not a hamuge sonic fan but it looks like a fun ungame to run around in collecting stuff.

Same situation with Black Ops 2

I bought Black Ops 2 and before I could even open the game and login to my 360 profile bam, server issues 😅 now just to find a match!

It's moments like these that I get really frustrated with not being able to access games I own. I get gamepass may have restrictions but games I've literally paid for and that are offline? Seems a bit unfair to me 🤷‍♂️

Sorry for the silly question but Banjo Kazooie and Tooie are already available through Rare Replay. What istthe difference between playing them there and if they were made backwards conpatible?

Hey Pure Xbox! One feature I think would be insanely useful for your website (if even possible) if when you mention a game, include a link to the store page for it. Not sure if it's possible but every time I read articles like this one I have to close the site, open the Xbox app, the search for the game you were talking about to wishlist or download. Cheers!

Man I'm glad "retro" games are still in my mind retro. I'll know I'm getting old when these retro collections start including N64 games 😂

I'm from UK so 4 was obviously my fav. 5 was just too much desert. Endlessly driving across empty spaces was not fun at all.

I'm probably just saying this because it's been a tough week and I've had a few drinks but I'm really digging this new approach by Xbox led by Asha Sharma 👍

Very underrated game imo

I would suggest they do what worked, so basically the exact same as Ghost Recon Wildlands but with better graphics and in Iraq fighting Al-Qaeda. I'll get my coat.

@Ricky-Spanish The game has an insanely huge bunch of costumes, weapon skins, weapons, win animations, emblems, calling tags, helmets and more. And all of it is unlock able by doing random challenges that you can achieve in one match or a few. It's a brilliant system that keeps me coming back and I've never felt the need to spend any money. In fact I'd say it's so player friendly it's probably why they don't use the system in later cod entries 😂 the term loot boxes is weird here because they are loot boxes but they're not as we imagine them as paid boxes, they are part of the non paid gameplay if you want them to be to unlock cool new stuff. I've played WWII for hundreds of hours and I'm always shocked because in still unlocking new stuff every few games. It's insane how they created so much content.

You unlock perks through gameplay itself and levelling up along with select calling tags and stuff. But when you play it you'll see just how fun the "loot boxes" are, they make every match way more fun and jn tense and again totally cost free 👌

WWII is my favourite Call of Duty game of all time. I'm a dad of two now and thought I'd ping since passed the golden age of COD as I grew up with Cod 4 and MW2. But WWII is amazing. I the multiplayer has loot boxes but they are not paid and every time you play you can set yourself a challenge to unlock one, totally free. I've played WWII an ungodly amount of time and I'm really happy to see that more players will be coming on to enjoy it.
