Xbox Brings Another Call Of Duty To Game Pass Today (June 30)

I hope this is good, I'm REALLY looking forward to playing the campaign.

Really looking forward to this game mostly because it's set in world war 2 downloaded it last night so it's good to go when the game goes live on gamepass no waiting around ✌️

WWII is my favourite Call of Duty game of all time. I'm a dad of two now and thought I'd ping since passed the golden age of COD as I grew up with Cod 4 and MW2. But WWII is amazing. I the multiplayer has loot boxes but they are not paid and every time you play you can set yourself a challenge to unlock one, totally free. I've played WWII an ungodly amount of time and I'm really happy to see that more players will be coming on to enjoy it.

@Eastergregg What is it you get in the loot boxes cosmetics??
Do you still unlock guns attachments and perks by leveling up or is it through the loot boxes??
I never played this game before so I don't have a clue ha!

Is this one anything like Medal of Honour frontline? If so I'm keen

@Ricky-Spanish The game has an insanely huge bunch of costumes, weapon skins, weapons, win animations, emblems, calling tags, helmets and more. And all of it is unlock able by doing random challenges that you can achieve in one match or a few. It's a brilliant system that keeps me coming back and I've never felt the need to spend any money. In fact I'd say it's so player friendly it's probably why they don't use the system in later cod entries 😂 the term loot boxes is weird here because they are loot boxes but they're not as we imagine them as paid boxes, they are part of the non paid gameplay if you want them to be to unlock cool new stuff. I've played WWII for hundreds of hours and I'm always shocked because in still unlocking new stuff every few games. It's insane how they created so much content.

You unlock perks through gameplay itself and levelling up along with select calling tags and stuff. But when you play it you'll see just how fun the "loot boxes" are, they make every match way more fun and jn tense and again totally cost free 👌

Oooh now that's a nice surprise. Definitely sliding this to the front of my backlog of games.

Though I hope it's easy to download - I went to download the last one they released on GP (Modern Warfare of some kind) and it seemed to be 400+ GBs or a ton of different smaller downloads. Had no clue what to download so didn't bother.

So they are going to just release whichever into there slowly.....

What predictable and boring news, wake me up when they do something interesting not just 360/Xbox One era COD to Gamepass over months/years from now or delist them from the service. This is just so boring.

You can get old COD physical for cheap as who really wants them anymore? Exactly, cheap as ever to get them.

Digital that price will vary and usually stays high on even old storefronts anyway.

I already own it so too me it's not a bother but for those that didn't I think it's a good entry despite what people say.

Yeah for older COD of OG Xbox era, I will continue to play those on PS2, thanks ABK. Great to see your offering only the Xbox One era ones and being absolutely lazy about offering more interesting stuff, How risky, as in safe your offering this stuff.

I'm ok doing that. Seeing if the next COD is good of it's sci-fi ideas or else ignore it like the past few entries I have been ignoring.

So hardly that interesting Microsoft/ABK at all. Still not bothered.

Pretty boring news really. Offer us things we won't expect, not the most predictable and more.

@SuntannedDuck2 Lots of people haven't played the game yet but they can now because it's on gamepass I get your not excited as you own the game but loads haven't played it yet who can now it's how the cookie crumbles it's not like gamepass hasn't added lots of new games the past couple months it won't always be games your into that's common sense 🤷

If stats/progression carried over to the pc version I would sign up and play it but great game nonetheless, one of my favourites.
