@EvenStephen7 seems like somehow it’s more because she previously worked at the nfl. Because apparently you can’t ever hire someone who’s worked somewhere else? Either way, I’m unfamiliar with her but would like to see how things unfold. Ybarra went full on pro kotick once he became president so I don’t really miss the guy.
@Kalvort Not good sadly. Performance is 1080p, 60 fps but VRR is unreliable. Even without film grain the game is very blurry. No modes run at 4k and the one that does is dynamic and prone to massive frame drops during busy fights (which is the best part of the game), requring a reset. I returned my copy, Techland is sadly on my blacklist along with port studio Vurtuos. Still no cross play with xbox one and series x/s gamers either.
Doubt they even realize that the reason for that is how bad the Avengers game they still have on life support is. I loved this game but I don't blame anyone for not buying it based on the previous usage of the IP.
@eduscxbox your comment needs to be pinned somewhere. This cannot be more understated, the ability devs have to fix stuff for release is hindered by these regulatory practices. Nintendo is notorious for taking ages to approve patches for indie projects (Deaths Gambit: Afterlife patch that added xyarlothep took almost four weeks for then to approve despite being tiny by comparison). I definitely am waiting to buy this one until the full launch to ensure I'm not stuck with a broken mess but I'm optimistic they'll get it ironed out. Can't be any worse than Cyberpunk right? Right!?
Unsure of credibility, but ACG on YouTube also mentioned coop is unplayable due to a data corruption bug when matchmaking. Not sure if that'll be a day one fix or not, or if it's related to their specific setup but it's definitely changed my mind on pre-ordering.
I'm weirded out by this one honestly. Almost feels like the largest purchase they could afford without going too small. I definitely feel like they should focus on NiS, Fromsoftware and Atlus. I know Atlus is owned by Sega, but with Sega seemingly ready to give up everything except Sonic I think they could find a reason to buyout. I'm team Xbox at this point, but Sony has been really going all in on anti cross play chicanery and punishments for third party devs.
