Re: Sarah Bond Insists Hardware Is 'Absolutely Core' To Xbox, Teases Powerful Next-Gen Console

I think Xbox should just switch tactics. Idk what they are planning or even doing anymore. Adopt a blue ocean model and give me something my PlayStation can't, just like how Nintendo does. I don't need a second playstation in my living room, but if you offer me something they don't then I'm all ears. But for the last decade the Xbox brand has been identical to playstations but green and more expensive.

As someone who has not purchased an Xbox since the 360 and has no PC or steam deck this is actually a very enticing device for me. I can't get the best of all worlds on one device and even play my PlayStation games on it as well. Still going to wait to hear the price but if the cheaper model is on par with a steam deck I think I would rather have this just cuz of how it has handles

Re: Opinion: Nothing Will Come Close To GTA 6 As An Xbox Series X|S Showpiece

With an the delays and no gameplay I'm getting less excited for this game each day. Graphically it looks incredible and I'm excited to go back to vice City but besides that these two trailers have done nothing for me. I don't really find the two main characters all that interesting I never even remember their names, the girl seems like the generic girl boss and the guy just seems really bland to me at far. Neither of them give off the fun vibes the other main characters have and the humor is severely lacking in my opinion. IDK until I see gameplay I'm just not really convinced by any of these trailers that this is anything besides pretty graphics as of right now which I already knew was going to be the case.

Re: OG Xbox Creator Shares His Thoughts On The State Of The Brand In 2025

I actually really miss the og style Xbox came out of the gate with and wish they would return to it in some fashion. I know that'll never happen but Sony is already kinda doing everything he described and so is steam. Nintendo does it's own thing and that's what keeps them going, Xbox started like that and it only lasted 2 consoles before it just came an alternate PlayStation option. Personally I think if it leaned into being the place where you're cool older brother plays but your mom won't let you play with him is what made it really cool when I was young and it first came around.

Re: Soapbox: Xbox Should Start Embracing Its Past A Whole Lot More

I don't have a current gen Xbox but I plan on getting one down the line eventually, I got laid off recently so maybe when I finally get a new job and get back on my feet I'll grab one, but the one thing I did notice Xbox doing that I do like is how they partnered up with 3rd party companies to make the duke and the duchess even tho they are wired and with 8bitdo to make a cheaper variant of the modern controller with an exclusive M30 for Xbox. It just not be a mini console or anything but it is something Nintendo did and I wish playstation would as well, they dropped the 30th anniversary ones but they are the same classic grey as the 20th for the PS4. I'm not complaining I love the OG colour but it would be cool to get updated versions of the old playstation controllers, or at least make the old ones compatible with new hardware, at the very least at least some classic colour themes on the controllers. That's a place Xbox has them beat I even often hear people joking Xbox has more variants of it's controller than they do games for the console

Re: SEGA Is Reportedly Considering Its Own Gaming Subscription Service

If they launched it with a console of some kind I would be interested but right now I have ps5, switch and I'm looking into getting a new pc and then I would get game pass to essentially have an Xbox again because I haven't since the 360. But there are way to many streaming services I don't think people realise how much they drain your savings when they all stack up monthly. Unless they can offer these things for less than 10 dollars a month someone in my income bracket is better off just getting the games I want at this point it's less expensive than having 5-10 different streaming services. I only have 4 and it already seems like a lot

Re: Croc Developer Insists There's 'Almost No Demand' For A Physical Xbox Version

Crecca

I can't wait for this game idk why everyone in this comment section is hating it. I grew up with games like this one and it's a shame Xbox gamers won't be able to try it out with a physical edition. So least you can get digital if you still want. For everyone saying there's no interest in it, give it a chance it's a really great platformer
