I’m unsure as to whether halo can actually get to the top again I mean do the casuals actually care? I think it would need a botw moment to get the masses interested. Something really fresh and new never been done before like combat evolved I suppose

They just released infinite too early. Should have waited till now. Look at Nintendo with Zelda, people will wait if the end product it top quality. So that’s the management at fault.

@Fragslayer I completed it on legendary. I know people like the grapple but I personally thought it felt like cheating. The game was really easy on legendary compared to previous games I think although it did have its moments of real difficulty. Harbinger in particular was tricky. I think halo needs worlds that feel massive but actually aren’t, like combat evolved was. That’s what works best and we should always be in the action not searching for Mjolnir armour. I’m really disappointed about the campaign DLC also.

@Moonglow how can you call the campaign a masterpiece? It was very disjointed. The inside missions were awesome but the open world was far cry 2. Halo didn’t need an open world it just needed a quality game. 343 have forced so much crap into this franchise.

I’m playing halo 3 campaign on legendary. So much fun. Been thinking about halo and bungie recently after watching no time to die it got me thinking maybe they should have killed the master chief off then 343 wouldn’t have been created or if so they would have had to do something very different

@darkswabber I tried 3 but didn't like the open world free rome idea. I know as a kid I would have loved it but not now I haven't got time to go ratching for my next race.
