@armondo36 if there is any comment (with video games) that pushes my button or in this case all my buttons it’s this crap. This attitude is exactly why games are being released in such bad states. This attitude is why games are going down the drain incredibly fast. Yeah it is nice to have people be able to fix a game or improve it but this is such a crutch it’s not even funny. Take fallout 76 where Todd says “games like this come out in this state all the time and get fixed later”. Not all games get fixed or improved. What about lamplighters league that released and has a lot of issues some even basic ones like saves being erased and has been abandoned. There are many more examples I am sure people could list for bad and very few for good like no mans sky. This mentality seriously needs to go the way of the dodo.
You really need to do a spoiler article so people can talk about it. It sucked. I watched episode 1 and really enjoyed all the little things like stimpacks and chems. After watching a few episodes I thought about going back and playing fallout 4 but then due to an article from a website I fell down a 76 hole and all the stuff around that I was reminded of. I have really gone from liking Bethesda to never giving them another penny for anything. That really affected my view of the show and from that point on I really did not enjoy it at all. I will try to not spoil and be as vague as possible. I find it completely unoriginal. Fallout 3 you’re searching for your dad. Fallout 4 you’re searching for your kid. Fallout tv show, they are searching for someone and then you find out so is someone else. Season 2 is literally going to be the exact same thing as season 1. I don’t understand how someone is so concerned about someone and where they are when the bombs go off but then, basically set the bombs off when that person is not protected. I also don’t understand why someone is searching for someone when that person was okay with killing.
@Pigrotto Your opinion is correct. Such a great game. I still need to finish it. The controls at first were really different and took time to get used to but once you do and get going. It’s so good.
@PapaGlitch Walmart + is awesome. There are a tone of great benefits. You get Parmount + free, there are deals with gas and travel. There are more but I don’t remember them all. It’s also nice having them deliver your groceries and stuff and not using a company like instacart. Saves on time and gas not having to go to the store. This is also something that is not new. Walmart plus has been around for a bit. Kroger also has their Boost membership. Not sure if there are more.
I never thought something like this would become annoying to me. Maybe it’s just my age and getting older. The games industry and the way games are going are and have been going the wrong way for a long time. Whatever happened to actions speak louder than words. Why do devs feel the need to undercut other devs? Dev A does this one thing that upsets people or is genuinely not a good idea, Dev B comes out oh we have no plans to ever do that. Especially CD-Project Red they should focus on what they are doing and not having another launch like Cyberpunk 2077. I know I can’t be in the minority here but so many of these dev’s actions in the past (cyberpunk, the way 76 was handled) I will never look at them in a positive light again.
@xxk7xx lol are you high? The switch. I love my switch but this will just be another MK11 and 1 situation. Killer Instinct runs so slow on my Xbox one I couldn’t even imagine the performance on the switch. Maybe when the next Nintendo console comes out and we have an idea of what it could do that could be a possibility but at this point it could the weakest of the three again.
I live in the states and they gutted the Xbox app over here pretty bad as well. I know they dropped down the PC rewards but I don’t own a PC so can’t tell you the exact amount. They dropped playing the jewel game from 30 to 5 and you no longer get points for have 7 plus friends and having game pass. So it went from 60 a day to now 5. In bing they dropped the daily as well down 20 points.
I wanted to add and it’s pretty crazy but there is no incentive with points to have game pass. In the app they got rid of the quest play a game pass game and get an achievement and it’s now just play a game for 2 more points. Like I mentioned above they got rid of the points for having game pass. It’s weird that they would take it that way. You would think hey if you have game pass get more points.
@Romans12 entitled much? Last time I checked (about 5 seconds ago) there are 2 Xboxes and technically one PS5 as they are the same in power. It stands to reason making a game for one architecture is easier than making it for two. But what do I know. Also Microsoft wanted it out at the same time one both versions and they kept running into issues on the S. In this day and age (I know I’m not alone) I would rather a game come out late and finished than early and broken.
As “journalist” surprised you would forget and not mention the start of the spiral. There was the leak that exposed 2,000 journalists private info in 2019 that really started the downfall of e3.
