Four New Xbox Games Are Releasing Today, Plus August's Final Game Pass Addition 1

It's the final day of the August, which means today's games are the last of the month, so we thought we'd whip 'em up for you to have a look at.

Xbox Game Pass has had a rather wobbly August, offering comparatively little for Ultimate subscribers compared to previous months, and it seems Microsoft wants to round things off in much the same way. Young Suns is launching into version 1.0 today and becoming available to Premium tier members after a stint on Ultimate.

Here's what's launching on Xbox today (August 31):

Young Suns 1.0 - New to XGP Premium (Xbox Game Pass)

Build a home on your own spaceship and take it adventuring across a newly liberated Jupiter. A cozy 1-4 player narrative life sim where you explore, salvage, and repair to help a huge cast of lovable characters make society better.

New Xbox Releases (August 31)

    • Puzzledorf (August 31): "With vibrant worlds and soothing melodies, Puzzledorf is a nostalgic pixel art trip to the 80’s. Puzzledorf has a gentle learning curve before it hits you with brain-breaking puzzles."
    • Serious Sam: Shatterverse (August 31): "Serious Sam Stone is back, but this time he's not alone. Uber Mental's maniacal machinations have fractured the walls between universes, and now Sam's from multiple dimensions must learn to work together to repair the Shatterverse."
    • Sticker Picker (August 31): "Put your observation skills to the test in Sticker Picker, a fun spot-the-difference game filled with vibrant scenes and charming characters from the Afil Games universe."
    • Lady Death Demonicron (August 31): "Lady Death Demonicron is an all new side-scrolling, sword-slicing, magic-wielding, 15 level co-op hack and slash that takes the best aspects of the 1990s arcade classics all mixed together with a killer industrial-metal soundtrack."
