Today's announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 included the re-reveal that it won't be coming to Xbox One and PS4 when it launches in October, and there's also another big reveal related to those platforms for COD: Warzone.
Yes, Call of Duty: Warzone is officially being delisted for Xbox One and PS4 on June 4th, 2026. Activision says you won't be able to find it or download it on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One after that date, although people who already have the game in their library will be able to play until the end of Season 06 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The in-game store will also be removed from the XB1 and PS4 versions of Warzone on June 25th.
"Call of Duty: Warzone on PlayStation 4 and XBOX One will be available to play through the end of Season 06 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. New downloads will no longer be available on these platforms starting June 4. However, the game can still be installed and played until the end of Season 06 if it is owned in your platform’s library."
This marks the third Xbox One game set to be delisted in early June 2026, as we've already heard that Horizon Chase Turbo and Rec Room are expected to disappear on June 1st as well. Neither of these ever got optimised for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, although they obviously still work on modern consoles through backwards compatibility.
The only thing we're unsure about with Horizon Chase Turbo is that the developer said the "original version" won't be available after June 1st, and we recently spotted a new Ayrton Senna Edition being added to the Xbox Store in late April. Could that one remain on the store in place of the original version? We'll have to wait and see.
Anyway, those are the three Xbox delistings we know about for early June 2026 so far, and we'll leave you with the list of them down below. Just keep in mind that Call of Duty: Warzone for Series X and Series S will obviously still survive!
- Horizon Chase Turbo (June 1)
- Rec Room (June 1)
- Call of Duty: Warzone for Xbox One (June 4)
