This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of Xbox 360, and accessory maker NACON is getting in early with its announcement of a new limited-edition controller for Xbox and PC.
Well, we say early, but this special edition 'Revolution X Unlimited' pad doesn't actually launch until next February. Despite that though, the design of this thing has been nailed - from the colour scheme to the classic-style face buttons and that customisable display up top; this looks like a pretty awesome effort.
We are looking at a $200/£200 controller here though, complete with hall-effect sticks, trigger stops, extra buttons on the rear, controller profiles and more. Here are some additional shots of the pad, courtesy of NACON:
As you can see in those images up above, the default controller profile screen looks more standard, but it appears that you can customise this to add a 'mini' blades-style dashboard up there to mark the anniversary - at least that what's the lead image suggests. The controller listing simply states that the screen allows "easy and intuitive customization", so we'll have to see how this is in practice as NACON hasn't fully confirmed how it all works.
