It was the Xbox One version that we were most interested in, as the original XB1 is now 12 years old and still getting brand-new releases like this, and unsurprisingly it's not a great way to play Black Ops 7.
Thanks to Fuzion Xbox Testing on YouTube, we can see that the Xbox One S is able to achieve 30 frames per-second in Black Ops 7, but not much more than that. It seems to hit a max of about 45FPS at best, but to be fair the graphics are pretty decent for such an old console. Certainly not terrible, but obviously not on par with current-gen systems.
The visuals are actually very nice on Xbox One X, but the frame rate can't stick to a consistent 60FPS. Instead, it's regularly dropping to just over the 50FPS mark, and can even go as low as 30 frames per-second at its worst. That's going to lead to an unsmooth experience, albeit one that looks very good for an old last-gen console.
You can make up your own opinion on the Xbox One versions via the videos down below, and we're hoping to share some ROG Xbox Ally X impressions soon as well - all signs point to the game running well on that device so far.
Just keep in mind that this Xbox One footage is only meant as an early glimpse at what to expect from Black Ops 7 on Xbox One, and we'll have to wait longer for a full analysis from the likes of Digital Foundry in the coming days/weeks.
