Back at the start of October, Microsoft announced that Epic's Fortnite Crew subscription would soon be included in the overhauled Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription - and now the Fortnite developer has given us an exact date of when the bonus service can be accessed.
Posting out to its official website, Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite Crew will be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate players on November 18, 2025. Here's the full message shared by the mammoth game maker:
"Starting November 18, 2025; Fortnite Crew is included as a perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. For more information, please refer to Microsoft’s Updates to Xbox Game Pass blogpost."
Of course, you won't have to refer to that blogpost; we covered the service's Fornite Crew addition last month here at Pure Xbox! To sum things up, Fortnite Crew subscribers get every premium battle pass, 1,000 V-Bucks each month and a 'Monthly Crew Pack' that's exclusive to members. Normally this costs $11.99 a month, but will soon be an extra bonus for Game Pass Ultimate players.
There's been much debate on how worthy of an addition this — and the likes of Ubisoft+ Classics — are to the newly-price hiked Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - but there's no doubt that if you're a Fortnite player this adds significant value to the service. We'll link to our full overview on Fortnite Crew down below, alongside a breakdown on Microsoft's new Xbox Game Pass tiers as of October 2025.
