Dead Island 2's First DLC Since Xbox Game Pass Launch Unveiled

Dead Island 2 has proved pretty darn popular on Xbox since it came to the Game Pass library, and hot on the heels of its arrival on the service, the team has unveiled the game's next DLC pack.

Dubbed 'SoLA', Dead Island 2's second major expansion is musically-inclined - as players are tasked with exploring a zombie-filled Californian music festival. The DLC will include a new chunk of storyline, a new location, new enemy types and lots more. Here's a quick introduction to Dead Island 2 SoLA:

"Stage dive into the heart of SoLA, the ultimate Californian music festival, built upon ancient grounds. Stalking the pulsating heart of LA's final rave is a psychedelic beat that has unleashed total chaos, leaving nothing but a rotting crater of gore and a malevolent presence haunting the shadows. Something is out there and it’s still hungry."

This second major DLC will be the final story add-on for Dead Island 2, following the game's 'Haus' expansion last November. Both of these make up the game's £24.99 / £29.99 expansion pass, and with Haus coming in at £9.99 / $12.99 by itself, you can expect SoLA to be a similar price.

Anyway, this Dead Island 2 DLC comes to Xbox on April 17th, so if you fancy expanding your zombie-filled Game Pass adventures, this is one way to go about it! Here are some more high-def screenshots from the expansion:
