Okay, this is a pretty big reveal! The mega-popular co-op ghost hunting sim Phasmophobia is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S this August. The team at Kinetic Games hasn't added a specific date to that month yet, but a console version is indeed coming after years of huge growth on PC.

Phasmophobia became a massive hit on PC — especially in the streaming world — with its unique take on horror - bringing four players together to go ghost hunting. Here's a bit more about the title:

"Phasmophobia is a 4-player, online co-op, psychological horror game. You and your team of paranormal investigators will enter haunted locations filled with paranormal activity and try to gather as much evidence as you can. Use your ghost-hunting equipment to find and record evidence to sell on to a ghost removal team."

There wasn't an Xbox Game Pass announcement in here unfortunately, but the game is pretty cheap on PC via Steam, where the title has more than 450k reviews amounting to an 'overwhelmingly positive' rating on the platform.
