Gamescom 2021 has crept up on us, with the festivities getting started tomorrow, August 24 with a special Xbox stream that will "share the latest updates and gameplay for some of the biggest games coming soon to Xbox."
Here's a bit of what you can look forward to during the event:
"You’ll get in-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases to our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, and much more."
The show will be hosted by Parris Lilly and Kate Yeager, and based on the description above, it does sound like this will be more of an update-style show rather than packed with new game announcements. However, we'd expect to see the likes of Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite in attendance, hopefully with a release date for the latter as well.
Update: Xbox's Aaron Greenberg has confirmed there will be "no new reveals or major surprises" at the show.

- Tuesday, August 24th: 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST / 7pm CET

The show will be broadcast live at 1080/60fps, with the ability to watch at 4k/60fps after it's finished.
As usual, we'll be hosting the show for you to watch here at Pure Xbox (we'll open up the live blog and chatroom as well!), and if you're not able to catch it live, rest assured we'll be covering all the important details following the event.
Don't forget that Gamescom: Opening Night Live will also be taking place on Wednesday, August 25, and we already know that it'll include news on a Saints Row reboot and an update on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

I wonder if this'll be when we find out more regarding CrossfireX, The Gunk, Scorn and As Dusk Falls. Also perhaps when Grounded leaves early access.
Looking forward to this, as Microsoft normally do a good show just before fall.

@Grumblevolcano I certainly expect the first 3 as they are all pretty much confirmed for a 21 release. As Gamescom isn't normally a show they appear at you have to expect they have a lot to show.
I'll just wait for your coverage. There is no way I'm staying up/getting up at 3am to watch this.
I'll be very worried if they don't announce a release date for Halo Infinite.
Just to clarify, the above stated 10am PT / 6pm GMT is incorrect as 10am PT is 5pm GMT
If i got to watch it at 6pm GMT (which is 7pm here in UK as we're on BST) - it'll be almost finished
This happened with a recent event which too where i took the time from the PureXbox article and almost missed the event, luckily i went to find the stream on YT for that event ahead of time and noticed the countdown was an hour ahead of what i had anticipated the start time being
