Xbox's Gamescom Stream Will Be 90 Minutes Long, No New Reveals Or Major Surprises

Xbox is set to host a Gamescom stream tomorrow evening (August 24) at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT / 7pm CET. While the advertising for the show is hyping it up, Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg has come forward to temper expectations.

According to an Xbox Wire post, the show will be 90 minutes long, but Greenberg added on Twitter that fans should not expect "new reveals or major surprises". Instead, the focus of the show is on game updates coming this year.

We're expecting something similar to the Xbox Games Showcase Extended which aired just after E3. During this, viewers were treated to a selection of interviews, extended gameplay segments and a few smaller announcements, such as a next-gen upgrade for A Plague Tale: Innocence.

With some huge titles on the horizon such as Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5, you can probably expect updates for games such as those, along with a few others. In fact, we're hoping to finally hear of a Halo Infinite release date following the Call of Duty: Vanguard announcement.

Fingers crossed!
