We've known about Xbox Series X controller support being in beta testing on iOS devices for a while now, but last night's Spring Loaded Event from Apple confirmed the update is rolling out publicly sometime next week.
iOS 14.5 has been in an extended beta testing cycle, but will finally be made public on the week commencing April 26. According to a report back in February, Xbox Series X controller support for iPhones and iPads has been in beta for a while, and TechRadar has listed the full set of new features, citing Xbox Series X controller support as one of them.
This makes for perfect timing, as Xbox has begun delivering Cloud Gaming on iOS devices this week. The program is slowly inviting Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to try out the service, so keep an eye in those inboxes.
Will you be using your Xbox Series X controller on your iOS device? Let us know in the comments below.
